    (and this is the most important part of my tuna salad:) dill relish, and TONS of it!

    i like it on toasted white bread with perhaps a slice of cheese, tomato, and some lettuce.

  3. Lots of green salad, a generous heap of Mayo.... and as much pineapple as I can!  It's lovely!!  Preferably on a sweet-ish bread, such as honey-oat.

  6. i put mustard in my tuna instead of mayonnaise.  i thought of this while looking at canned sardines and saw that some were packed in mustard sauce.  i love mustard and tuna sandwiches with a chopped up boiled egg and some lettuce.

    Put it all on some toasted bread, or eat it with crackers and i'm happy!

    Then on whole wheat with cheese, lettuce and dill pickles and pepper.

    YUM!

    Sometimes I add egg, depending on what mood I am in.

    In the winter I like it on toasted bread, whichever kind I happen to have at the moment.

    In the summer when fresh tomatoes are on the vine, (OMG! Yummy!) , I slice them on a bed of lettuce, then heap the tuna on top. Add a pinch of salt and fresh ground pepper.

    In fact, I had this night before last.

  14. i put the tuna in a bowl, mix in some mayo about 1 to 3 tablesppons slightly heaped, add a teaspoon or two of pickle relish and stir. I then place the mixture onto bread of choice, croissant, etc...and garnish with lettuce, tomatoe, etc...and serve, they taste great!

  15. Mayo, Onions & pickels :0) - On Beefsteak Rye with Lettuce & Swiss cheese :0P I'm wanting one right now! - Oh I forgot that you have to cut it in half diagonally and serve with Fritos Corn Chips.

    Servings: Makes 4 servings.

    Ingredients

    For tuna salad

    1/4 cup mayonnaise

    2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

    2 (6-oz) cans light tuna packed in olive oil, drained

    1/2 cup chopped drained bottled roasted red peppers

    10 Kalamata or other brine-cured black olives, pitted and cut lengthwise into strips

    1 large celery rib, chopped

    2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion

    1 (20- to 24-inch) baguette

    2 tablespoons olive oil

    Green leaf lettuce

    Preparation

    Make tuna salad: Whisk together mayonnaise and lemon juice in a large bowl. Add remaining salad ingredients and stir together gently. Season with salt and pepper.

    Assemble sandwiches: Cut baguette into 4 equal lengths and halve each piece horizontally. Brush cut sides with oil and season with salt and pepper. Make sandwiches with baguette, lettuce, and tuna salad.

    boiled egg (sometimes)

    toasted wheat bread, tomotoe and tuna salad
