What do you put on a black car to maintain its shine?

How do you keep a black car shiny. Time has shown that waxing a black car does more harm that good. What will not dull black paint?

I have yet to see a car that has wax on it shine like one with VaporWax on it. VapoWax is pure liquid with no abrasive polishes. It goes on shiney leaves no residue and never dulls the paint.

polish is better then wax. after time you get a wax build up, but with polish, you don,t.if your car looks dull, go to auto zone or advance and they sell stuff in a bottle to restore the original color, it works because i,ve used it.

I have a black 300 and I use Zaino products.   It provides a mirror-like shine and protection for the paint.  It's a polish, not a wax.  No white build up along the car seams.  I know there are other great products you can find.  Just thought I'd let you know I am very happy with this product on my black car.   Good luck!

I have found REJEX works great. It was made for boats and fiberglass. Goes on easy and comes off nice, finish with a micro towel and no marks left behind, will last up to 6 mo. I have a black '02 Silverado, takes a couple of hours to do, so I try and save time when I can! It can be bought at True Value Hardware or check on line.

i used to wax my black car and it worked great. try a better wax or have a professional do it.

VaporWax is the best if you can afford it.
