I would imagine employers may be put off and less interested if you didn't actually graduate. But, putting Graduate would be lying.

  1. They will ask about anything left blank... and if you aren't checking the "yes" box on that question, they'll ask during the interview.

So, you can put in your dates, leave it blank and be prepared to answer with your GED date when asked.

Do note that if you leave too many unanswered questions or gaps it is likely that you won't even get an interview.

  2. Just be honest. A ged is just as important as a high school diploma. T

  3. I would put down that you got a GED, the date, and if an institution or course was involved, put that down as well.  You want to be straight forward and honest when applying for a job, or it can come back on you.  If you just left it out, and it came up in the interview, the employer may think you were hiding it, and wonder what else you were hiding.

Personally, I view those who got a GED in a favorable light, not as idiots.  It shows that someone has matured enough to see the necessity of recieving a high school education, and worked for it.  A lot of kids just roll right through high school.

Congratulations on the GED, and good luck.

  4. Put High School Diploma, year, then if you took a GED course at a college or something, like many do, put that as the institution. Really though, if you're applying for a job that doesn't require a college or university graduate, likely your employer is going to be just as happy you have your GED as he would for a high school diploma. Some employers won't hire those who dropped out of high school, but someone with a GED is not a drop out since a GED is essentially a high school diploma. It shows you know what grade 12 graduates know, but avoided the stupidity of high school.

  5. nothing

    or education whatever high school

    don't mention grad or not

  6. If you have enough work experience to fill your resume, don't mention it at all, though answer honestly if asked.  If you don't have much or any work experience, then I'd put it, with a brief explanation with as much of a positive spin on it as you can.

  7. you could put something like

successfully completed GED program and the year you completed it
