  1. No feelings toward there cult like actions and behaviors.

  2. Well apart from pity for  the two young chaps who made the mistake of knocking on my door one weekend when I was having a nervous breakdown, I don't feel anything for them.

  3. Annoyance when they're on my doorstep.  Otherwise they don't even cross my conscience.

  4. Who really gives a d**n what anyone 'feels' about the Mormons??

If people are investigating the church, they will form their own opinions!!

    LDS members respect each other!!

And as  far as anti Mormons go?, well they can dig a big hole, and then, all pile in! No one will miss them at all!!

  5. Feel? I love them and pray for their salvation.

  6. I know many, the ones I know are some of the nicest people I have ever met.

I don't agree with what they believe but they never bring it up so there is never a problem.

  7. Not curious; I used to be a member of the LDS church.  How do I feel about them now?  Same as I feel about members of every religion.

  8. See my answer to the third question down from this one.

  9. Oh, I'm very curious!! They're like from a different world! I also feel the same way about Hasidic Jews (I used to be so amazed I looked up information about their cultures wherever I could)  :)

  10. They are very good people in general.  The old saying is "Mormons make good neighbors".  I would say that is accurate.  I do not agree with their religious beliefs but I think they are great people.

  11. I feel sorry 4 them as they r so misguided most will never know God. I dont hate any1 & have no affiliation with any religion. However, I must tell the truth that I know comes from God. It must be understood that God neither respects nor regards man or his religions. He exists with respect 2 & regard 2 the truth that stands forever unchanged.

1rst, theres no such thing as another "testament" of Jesus Christ so mormons cant be Christians. The New Testament came from Jesus who understood the entire Old Testament & from that understanding (which was impossible unless God was with Jesus) He spoke & did all that fulfilled the OT prophecies & covenant. The Apostles could notve written the NT unless Jesus allowed them 2 understand & remember all that He did unless Jesus allowed them 2 (Lk 24:25-27,45). Only an incredibly Intelligent Being could make this happen.

The NT comes from, agrees with, adheres 2 the full purpose that God laid out in the OT & builds upon that. There4, anything anyone claims as the truth from God must fully comply with the truth of both the OT & NT or its not from God or Jesus. No claim can vary even 1 degree from what is written in the Bible. In the OT God states that He never changes (Mal 3:6). In the NT it states that Jesus never changes (Heb 13:8). Since Jesus did exactly what God wanted Him 2 do (Jn 8:28; 5:30) then He didnt change what God set as true since the very beginning.

The reason the Books in the Bible r included is b/c they all stand on the same purpose in the same frame of mind on the same foundation & structure (the Apocrypha or "lost" books dont adhere 2 this framework). The only thing changed thru Jesus is the way 1 achieves abiding by whats in the OT (that which is necessary). That is 1 must go thru Jesus whom is perfect & there4, upheld & fulfilled the Law of the OT (purpose 4 Jesus' mission on earth so that He could be the perfect sacrifice 4 our sins). Any claim of another testament or different teaching is equal 2 another gospel & not the 1 true genuine Gospel of Jesus Christ. Any1 accepting another gospel, testament or teaching cant be a true Christian b/c its not from God (which the FLDS, LDS, RCc, Islam & others fail 2 understand).

Regrettably many dont actually take seriously whats stated in the Bible (any revelations or visions must exactly match & reflect the truth that never changes in both the OT & NT or its not from God). Many think &/or act as if they are smarter than God. **But God outsmarted man - the Bible is the only 1 that cant be properly understood without going thru Jesus Christ & having faith in Him (Jn 14:6; 5:39; II Cor 3:14 - If the Jewish people cant pierce the veil over the OT without Jesus (by His instructions) then rest-assured all gentiles cant, including Mormons). Thats why theres many interpretations & many thinking its all fairytales (& why the LDS's "Another Testament" cant follow or agree with the truth of the Bible).

Its why theres many religions, built on what man wants God 2 be like & its true most made many mistakes (many fatal) over time. I realized they cant all be right (Theres 1 Bible - why so many interpretations? - II Pet 1:**19-21). I found religion wont teach u much about God (they cant teach what they don't know). But it doesnt mean God doesnt know what He's doing. Who knows more about a house, the 1 who built it or those who move into it later?

The main point many miss is:  Jesus is the only 1 in history that stated that no 1 can find our real God except thru Him (Jn 14:6; 3:3,5; 5:39; 10:1,7; Acts 4:12). This means "the" truth was complete & there4 finished thru what Jesus taught & did (NT reinforces the OT). There4, any so-called new teaching & any other religious beliefs (including "another testament" - the BOM doesnt uphold the same truth of the Bible) r invalid, null & void & cant lead u 2 God. The truth is either the whole truth or its not the truth. The truth is the absence of any lie. Either Jesus told the only whole truth or He's just a false prophet among many whom should be disregarded. This would also mean God must not exist either (He either knows what He's doing or He cant be God).

***If Jesus came from God as His Son then religions r wrong about Jesus. If Jesus Christ is wrong then the Bible & the Quran (doesnt agree with the Bible), the Book of Mormon (no such thing as "another testament), JWs (rewrote some Bible verses - New World Translation) & others r wrong. We cant have it two ways. Theres only 1 Jesus & there can only be 1 true Gospel (II Cor 11:4; Gal 1:6,9; I Tm 6:3). If Jesus is whom He says He is then Muhammad (muslim follower of Islam), Joseph Smith (Mormon = Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints), Jahovah's Witnesses (JWs = Watchtower), Most Catholics, many Protestants, Ellen White (7th Day Adventists), Mary Baker (Christian Scientists), the moonies (Unification church), Church of Scientology (Dynanetics - L Ron Hubbard) & others presenting other teachings & practices r the false prophets & teachers & should be disregarded. But I can assure u the truth is in the Bible (where Jesus was coming from in everything He did & said).

But no matter how much many well-meaning people (religious or not) read the Bible they cant find the real Jesus Christ without going directly to Jesus thru His Biblical instructions (Jn 5:39; 10:1,7; 3:3,5). Many dont understand that they may be able 2 fool themselves & others but no1 can fool the God of Israel. The BOM is a mixture of stolen text from the Bible, things contrary to the Bible & things not in the Bible. 4 instance, Adam & Eve were never in Missouri. Joseph Smith's so-called visions & revelations have nothing 2 do with knowing or following the real Jesus Christ. The Bible says not 2 go beyond what is written (I Cor 4:6).

If u want 2 know the actual full truth - Whoever seeks Jesus Christ, the Son of God, with all his heart & soul will find our real God & His Kingdom (u shall know the truth & it will set u free). But this saying is true - u can lead a horse 2 water but u cant make them drink. After all, why should God want u 2 live with Him forever if u dont want 2 know Him (reason 4 free will)? The truth of God remains forever while things of a man dies with him, including his religions & his gods, created in his image.

On 1 hand, God hates us b/c of our sins - neither being a good person as judged by men or religion can save u. On the other hand, God loves us dearly enough 2 send His Son 2 die for our sins - so that thru Jesus our sins could be forgiven if we sincerely turn to Him - Theres everlasting hope only in Jesus Christ & His Word - the Bible.

Those that r wise get away from religion & seek the actual truth.

  12. r u having doubts sandra or just testing the water?

i used to feel sorry for them, now i just say why bother. they made their bed, let them lie in it.

  13. I feel deep concern that "The god of this age has blinded their minds, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Corinthians 4:4-5) The Christ they portray is not the Christ of the New Testament! What shocks me is that I have seen Mormons on this forum passionately saying that he is the same. This betrays a great deception at work, for those people are sincere. They really do think the Jesus of Mormonism is the same Jesus as in the Bible. How little they know the Jesus of the Bible!

I also feel dismayed that their doctrines of sexual reproduction and the gods having many 'wives' (partners) has created a huge stumbling block to Muslims accepting Christ. Mormons claim to be Christians, so when Muslims discover that although they deny the Trinity in the orthodox sense they make even more blasphemous claims about how Jesus was created, this offends Muslims and gives them an entirely wrong understanding of Christianity. This is what I mean about the god of this age deceiving Mormons.

  14. I believe that the goyim of their religion really have no idea what's going on at the higher echelons of their church. They actually believe theirs is a "Christian" church, but its teachings are in line with Occultism. Both Joseph Smith and Brigham Young were 33rd degree Freemasons, which means they worshipped Lucifer. The teachings of their church are consistent with what Freemasons learn - that Jesus was "just a man", and that humans are "gods". They teach that Adam was "God" (sec. 27, Doctrine of Covenant, vol. 2), that some sins are atoned for by your own blood only (Journal of Discourses v. 4, pg. 53); that Jesus was born in Jerusalem (Book of Mormon, Alma 7:17); that Christ was married to Mary, Martha and others ((Journal of Discourses, v. 2, pg. 81 & 82; Both Mormons and Masons claim priesthood under the "Order of Melchizedek", which belongs to Christ alone.

Mormonism is nothing more than Freemasonry masquerading as a religion of Jesus Christ.

  15. I do not believe that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, or that he received direct revelation from God. I also believe that we will be judged someday according to our faith in the Savior, not Joseph Smith.

I believe that he taught false doctrine, and that he has led many good people astray, and away from the true teachings of Jesus Christ that are taught in the Bible.

  16. It is necessary to understand that Mormons invite every tom, d**k and harry to join them, but prior to that, they must commit themselves to live a set of moral principles that will help, protect and bring them true happiness in this life and the next. however, not all mormons live by those principles. so for those who do, you can tell that there is something special about them and a comforting feeling to be around them. for those who don't practice the principles, though technically they are mormons if they are baptized into the church, may be perceived as being similar to non-mormons. hope that helps.

  17. My best friend is Mormon.  I study the Mormon religion for three years just so that I would know how to relate to her.

What I found was they say they believe in the bible but that the book of Mormon is the current day word of God - yet their main beliefs are about becoming God's and ruling their own planet someday - also they marry the dead in a temple as their eternal mate - yet none of these odd things are in the bible OR the book of Mormon.  I felt like they made things up that pleased them.  They say they can't have caffeine yet they own the COKe company?  Too many inconsistencies!

  18. OMG! They are lyke so d**n CUTE! Lawd, there where theese fine ones that comed to my house and were talkin to me and like oh I couldn't stop checkin out this ones butt, he was this brazilian mormon, OMG so hott!!!

  19. As an ex-Mormon, I feel sorry for them.

Their ministry is such a veneer of teaching, the so-called "elders" are not teachers, but salesmen. They fit part of Paul's description of the last days.

2 Timothy 3:6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.

Of course there are plenty of other faiths that have such men, but when you have had your family affected by these "elders", you remember.

  20. I "feel" that they are nice people that are completely gullible and probably will believe anything their leaders tell them.   While it is not the most recent made up religion, it definitely ranks in the top five for being "why in the world would you believe that?"
