What do you rate the "livescribe smartpen" with its abilities? ?

I am thinking about buying a livescribe pen for my 10h grade school year, but first i was wondering how good it works. what would u rate it and why?

Well I'm going to be in 12th grade this year and I'm taking some college course which have lots of lectures. I did some research and the more I did.. the more I wanted it.

The features I really like are...

- you can record while writing at the same time

- know what you wrote when the teacher said something [like side notes]

- can upload it to your computer

the downside is that its so expensive :[ 150 or 200 bucks X_X

I really want it though, but i would give it a 9... check on amazon.com type in livescribe to see reviews from people that actually own it... so far it's gotten good reviews.
