  1. My most unforgettable experience of night lights was the Eiffel Tower lit up.  As the sun goes down the tower lights up a bright yellow colour.  A lot of people think this is it but if you hang around til late (I think 10pm onwards) the tower lights up with hundreds of little pink fairy lights that all twinkle at different intervals!  I think it does this for a few minutes on the hour.  Absolutely stunning!  My most amazing memory of Paris!

  2. up to the eiffel tower  unforgetable

  3. my favorite view was from the top grassy level of sacre coeur in montmartre

  4. The view from the top of the Arc de Triomphe is excellent.

  5. I would definitely go up on the Eiffel Tower.  An unbelievable view from all angles.

  6. From the top of an open top bus. Les Cars Rouges has introduced a night tour of Paris which costs 20€ on a hop on hop off basis.

  7. Views from above are indeed quite nice. Consider also the Tour Montparnasse (getting at the top is free).

But I would also recommend that you take a stroll on the banks of the Seine to see the nicest buildings from there. The portion between Notre Dame and the Alexandre 3 bridge is the one with the most sights.

Start at Notre Dame, take a detour to the Louvre Courtyard as it is very nicely lit and end your walk at the Invalides.

And if you plan to make photos, do not forget to take a tripod!
