  1. The rule of thumb for interviews is that you always should dress a bit nicer for the interview than you need to dress for the actual job.  So if you can wear jeans on the job, then wear tailored pants and a blouse with heels for the interview.  Etc.

The best way to ace an interview is to practice.  Find a family member or friend who is willing to listen and provide advice, and have them ask you all of the basic interview questions.  Practice your answers.  You'd be surprised how much more comfortable you get after practicing out loud a few times.  If you can't bring yourself to ask, then record yourself answering questions alone, and listen to the recording and make your own modifications.

In regards to the specific questions you mention, like what makes you a good candidate, think about what the company needs.  Do they need client service?  Technical skills?  Good teamwork?  Energy?  Whatever the company needs, think about how you offer that, and then describe it in your answer.

For the strengths and weaknesses, treat the strengths the same as the above -- mention something that the company needs.  If you can think of an example, talk about it.  Something like you love to work with people, as evidenced in your volunteer experience at a hospital (or something like that).  For your weaknesses, be prepared with something that could be a strength. For example, you could say that you'll stay as long as you need to solve a problem, even if you need to work until midnight.

Additionally, I'd suggest going prepared with a question or two for your interviewer.  If they give you a chance to ask questions, you want to be able to ask an intelligent question.  Good basic questions are something like "what are the characteristics for a successful employee?" or "what do you enjoy about working here?"

    Good luck!
