  1. Sorry, it's just one of those days.

  2. Ha! I used to have this problem all the time. It actually kept me from playing on a team that i was qualified to play on. But the only thing you can do is admit you were wrong and apologize SINCERLEY. Then you fix it. You gotta changge your attitude towards everything. I realized that my bad attitude towards the coach was brought out during the game. Make sure that doesn't happen. I'm sure your coach understands not everyone always has good days. But don't make a habit of this. You have to sincerley want to change you attitude.

    Goodluck!

  3. recently, i had a horrible game, and i rode the bench for the last three games. i sat at the very end away from everybody, almost never cheered, hardly paid attention, and was always the last one into the huddle. so i probably know your position. go up the coach the next time you see them, and just sincerely apologize. if you know why your attitude was bad, just tell them. i had a poor attitude for four reasons: one, i was playing poorly, because i was distracted, 2) i was behind in school, so i was worried about how i was going to do for the rest of the year, 3) i just took a test and was unsure if i did good (just got 95%) 4) i was benched (i usually start). it turned out that my coach understood the problems i was facing, and even though he usually benches people with bad attitudes, he may let it slide. after you apologize, you really have to work hard to reclaim your coaches trust and respect, so do everything you can to show him you will work. at practice the next day, i work my tail off, even to the point of hyperventilation at one point, and was back to practicing in a few minutes. really work hard and be sincere, or else your coach will not like you.

  4. "Coach, you p**s me off. but it's all good"

  5. "hey, sorry about the other day, i didn't mean to freak. it was just one of those days"

  6. Actions do speak louder than words. It's a big step for you to even realize you have a bad attitude.

However, you should talk to your coach and sincerely apologize, starting with, "Coach, I'm really sorry I've had a bad attitude lately, but I'm aware of what I need to do to change it. I just hope I haven't lost my chance to prove it to you."

He will most likely say, "No problem, none of us are perfect" or maybe even, "I'll beleive it when I see it"

Either way, do your best to improve your attitude and this will soon be a thing of the past. Coaches are used to dealing with issues like this and he/she will appreciate your honesty when you approach them face to face.

  7. "Coach, sorry for the attitude.  Won't happen again."

    Actions speak louder than words.

  8. Well one of my friends had to do that this year. Just say like,

"Hey coach. I realize my attitude hasnt been very good. I'm working on changing it and hoping that an attitude improvement will have a game improvement for me."

Then actually change it because actions speak louder than words
