What do you say to those you don't pick on freecycle?

Like for instance, you offer something and then tons of people reply. If you don't pick those people, what do you say to them in the email? Do you ignore it or say that you picked someone else or what?

You don't have notify them at all.  After the item has been picked up, post a message to the freecycle group that the item has been taken.  A copy of that message will automatically post on the group site and will be sent via email to all the members.  

For example, on the subject line, type in "TAKEN:  Working microwave oven".  (Leave the text box blank).
