What do you say to your mom when she is embarrassing you?

Just tell her. Be like, Mom you're kind of embarrassing pleeease stop. But tell her in private. She'll probably get all defensive and stuff but she'll realize it and stop.

or say in a british accent "whateva aw you trying to convey, mumzy?"

You step up to her level and speak to her like an adult.  You look her in the eye and say, "Mom, I would appreciate if you would please stop doing that because it is embarrassing me.  I love you just the same, but would appreciate it if you would stop."

Trust me, that'll give any parents a serious "WHOA" moment, get them to step back for a second, and appreciate what you said because of how you said it.

Pull her aside or wait until you are at home and tell her that you know she means well, but sometimes what she says or does embarrasses you.

I say "Mother. Stop it." or just "Mother," in a "You'd better cut it out" voice. She knows what I mean. I told her that's what I'll say if she's embarassing me. I never call her mother, so it's not that hard to figure out. :P

my mom and i have an odd relationship. she and i joke around a lot. if i know she's just joking around i do the old "oh my eye itches" and flip her off when i scratch my eye. she usually returns with "oh both my eyes itch" an gives me two fingers up! another one is i threaten to run away. [long story short, summer before 6th grade i "ran away". i rode my bike to a local grocery store but then was to scared and tired to go on and also too scared and tired to go home so now i tell her i'm going to do it again but this time i'll take my car so i wont' get tired. she usually asks me what i'm going to do when i run out of gas and my step dad says "write if you find work"]

but if she's seriously embarrassing me i say "is this necessary? really? honestly, must you go on like this?"

or even better "i'm going to have to send you to your room if you can't behave"
