What do you say when someone introduces you?

So I'm 16, and I have this job. My supervisor is always walking me around to introduce me to people in the office. He'll say something on the lines of "Hey chuck, I'd like you to meet josh(me)". Some people will tell me their name, but since my supervisor already did that it seems a bit redundant. I don't want to be silent because that's kinda rude.

What am I supposed to say? This has just been a little awkwardness that I've had for a while.

  1. Say, "What's up, *****?" And it usually lightens the mood. Or makes it more awkward. It's worth the risk.
