  1. hello,

  2. The purpose of health insurance would be to provide payment for overpriced, unaffordable health care.

No health care should not be rationed.

We should train more health care workers, rather than "limiting" those in the program, like most Universities do. Thereby, making it make more accessible and this would help to drive down the cost. (I.e. flooding of the market)

  3. As with all insurance, it is to cover losses you could not afford on your own. If you can afford normal medical expenses as Doctor visit and regular tests, X-Rays, mammogram, etc you pay those and then you have major medical to cover hospital stays for accidents and serious illnesses.

Today most plans are HOM's or PPO's, which are a little different, they help with the little expenses like Doctor's visits on hope of keep major costs in check. It is cheaper to treat cancer if you catch it early. Rather than having you not go to the Doctor and letting get advanced

  4. current purpose to to bleed the consumer dry but charging them extremely high amounts and paying out very little on claims, leaving a huge remainder for the cunsumer to pay out of their pocket.
