<Insert Standard BS about drugs being bad etc...>  LSD intoxication earns it's nickname "trip" because you don't  just see one thing or another.  Rather, you embark on  a journey.  Sometimes the trip is a pleasant one, but a "bad trip" is a truly frighting experience.  Acid effects ALL the senses, not just sight.  The sounds, texture and smell of things can become very different.  I guess the most common things i've been around include "breathing walls" this is when the walls of a room start to move in and out, kinda like an wave motion. "tunnel sound"  in which the sounds of people and objects seems to be coming from  long tunnel.  "angular distortion" in which corners, faces and objects seem to have a strange look to them.  sharper and kinda highlighted.  That is a quickie of the more common things.  The weirdest thing i had happen was when Led Zeppelin came an played for me.  Jimmy Page stepped right off off the 4' x 6' poster I had, just as Dazed and Confused started.  The whole band peeled off the picture and i had my own private concert.  Wild days from long ago.  I must say that inspite of these funny kinds of results Acid is very Dependant on YOUR mood and environment when you try it.  If your tense and depressed the trip could be pure h**l.  And i mean flames l*****g your *** and Statan chasing you around for 6 hours.  IF your of the mindset to try this I must say the following.  MAKE SURE YOU TRUST WHO YOU ARE WITH.  DO NOT DO IT ALONE.  and you are messing with your brain chemistry.  FLASHBACKS CAN AND DO OCCUR.  With no warning you "could" be back on your trip, days or months later.  Hope this answers some of your curiousity.

I have heard, that a bunch of rocks can sing, the song from Pirates of the Caribbean.  Not the movies(though I haven't seen the movies), the ride at Disneyland.  "Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of rum"..but I heard this story from an alcoholic..so it could be he was thirsty and the rocks were reading his mind.  

Seriously that his what he told me, and don't worry about your life going down the drain, it will take a good twenty years later for that to happen based on my friends experience.   Have fun and come back and tell us if the rocks sing.

You see exactly what is in front of your eyes. All else is illusion, sometimes entirely replacing visual sense but usually built around it and integrated with it, e.g tracers, things like that. Not real.

Acid is dangerous stuff, you never know exactly what is gonna happen no matter how "clean" it is, or who may have a bad trip. Anybody can, there's no sure way to predict it, no matter how you approach it, it can go sour.

>edit< listen to jaye kaye and stay away from it. It can cause some serious regrets. Talk to some older hippies about it. Or better yet, ex-hippies.

>further edit< there is NOT a safe way to use acid, any trip can go bad. Doesn't matter how much, where, when, or who you are. It can always turn on you, no matter what you hear from people who say they know... all they know, ultimately, is their own experience, and they've been lucky so far.

  It's not a matter of addiction, or abuse, just a simple matter of risk that can't be managed and is best avoided.

Haha, i'll explain what i've seen.. since i assume thats what your question is about.

I've seen shadows from tree's at night form into flames with faces dancing with the beat of the psytrance music.

Few of my friends face's melting, the sky shaking as i look at it. Few poster's colors rippling like water and morphing together.

Craziest thing i saw would probably be people's tread marks in the sand from there shoes forming into a little city/town and i was sitting ontop of it, that was pretty amazing.

Um, closing my eyes on it.. that was beautiful. I saw a cube covered in beads falling into an infinite space of colors.. the beads colors would change with the beat of the music, some patterns also that would merge into one then break away into several different linear lines.

It's definitely the most powerful drug i've ever experienced.

As for people saying 'You're life going down the drain' Please... It's not addictive and its NOTHING like cocaine,heroin or crystal meth. Dont abuse it, and you wont have problems, once you see the power of it.. you'll probably be able to make a good decision on weather to use it again.
