  1. The best thing to do is call the school and ask them.. THey should have sent a list or will send a list of what to bring.

They usually ask for a change of pants.  Maybe a little bag with pencils, crayons etc.  Usually though in kindergarten they supply most of the materials , especially if its a public school.  They will tell you what to bring.  Please make sure if the child is a lefty, that you tell them!!  My daughter is an I always had problems with scissors, desk seating , etc.

  2. When I was going into kindergarten, I just has a nice little backpack. The school should provide a list of things to bring though, at registration, or on its website. Hmmm. Well if it doesnt, just pack markers, crayons, and some pencils in the backpack to be safe. You dont need anything big though in kindergarten, and the teacher usually provides glue and other things. :)

  3. Usually the school will provide a list of supplies needed, plus you will need gym shoes, and a back pack.

  4. what my nephew needs for kindergarten is

    16 ct. Crayola Crayons

    2 elmers glue sticks

a pair of kid safe scissors

a pack of number 2 pencils

    Pink Pearl eraser

    A bag pack

the teacher will send a paper home if more things are needed.

  5. It depends upon the school.  Usually, before the school year starts, the school sends a letter to all in-coming kindergarten children welcoming them to the school and giving the parents pertinent information (such as school supplies, arrival/dismissal times, snacks, etc).

When my daughter was in Kindergarten, all she needed was a suitable backpack (no wheels), glue sticks, and a plastic pencil box.  Everything else was either provided by the school to the students individually or were parent-donated items (such as markers) to be used by the students as a community.

With the letter from the school, I knew exactly what she needed so thankfully I did not have to go "overboard" in buying her new school supplies.

  6. Start with a healthy morning breakfast and a positive attitude when you drop them off. Good luck!

  7. a backpack, a lunch or lunch money if it's full day and a snack/drink if it's half day, a folder for papers to go back and forth in. This is all my kids ever needed for kindergarten. The schools here provide everything else. In fact they provided a folder as well but I had bought one just in case. Some school districts send out a list of supplies your child will need. If you did not get a list then the items I listed should be sufficient. If I were you I would call the school office (they usually start back to school working sometime in August) and ask them what the kid will need. If you had an orientation at the end of last school year look through any paperwork you got and it may state something in there as well.

My older boys got a list at the end of the year for middle school.

  8. On the first day, send her with nothing...they will either tell you at that time, or send something home before she starts..

  9. Usually before school begins, a letter will be sent out to parents of what school supplies the children are going to need. Sometimes the teacher sends it to make sure.   If the mother don't get one, check your local K-Mart or Wal-Mart, Target I think does it as well and they sometimes have lists for local schools for what is needed for each grade.

  10. check kmart walmart or staples for back to school lists

if there arent any just send her with a back pack folder and some pencils. theyll probably send her home with a list of what she needs

  11. a box with food and sweets and toys

  12. As far as school supplies?  The district should have a list available.  Check the website, or go to a local discount store (Wal-mart, K-mart, etc.) -- they will often have lists posted.

  13. The school will provide a list of required supplies.  Around here, places like Wal-Mart have the lists for all the schools in the area in the section where they sell the school supplies.  What you send him with will really depend on the school.

  14. Normaly the school would pervide you with a list inculding ALL items needed. Here is a list of things I would send my child with:

A sizely backpack (fits the back snugly)

A box of 20 crayola crayons

    2 notebooks

    4 folders

    1 box of tissues

a small teddy bear (stays in the backpack)

    2 boxes of pencials

    1 pen

    markers

Also make sure you child always is wearing easy walk sneakers on Phyical Education days (gym) or if they are wearing "uncomforable" shoes allow them to bring sneakers, flip flops, ect for recess, so the are able to run without an accident.

If you are packing the child a lunch:

An age approiate lunch box (barbie, doggie, ect)

    Favorite sandwitch (PBJ, ect)

    Favorite Juice pouch (Jucie Juice,ect)

    2 "snacky foods" (chips,cookies,ect)

    1-2 fruites (apple,ect)

    Veggie pack (carrots and dip,ect)

    Other (Icecream money,milk money,ect)

  15. A backpack and lunch.  The teacher will send home a list of school supplies or mail a list to the child's home before school starts.

  16. walmart usually has a supply list for schools in your area

  17. When you go and register her, they should give you a list of things she'll need.  Mostly just help with supplies with the classroom like a box of tissue.  For kindergardeners they usually dont take much at all.

  18. Usually, the schools put out a list of what they want from each grade. But kindergartner has to take a pack of pencils, 24 pack of crayons, washable markers, 2 spiral notebooks, a bookbag, 1 box of gallon, pint, and sandwich size ziplock bags, hand wipes, paper towels, tissues, hand santizers, glue, and glue sticks.

I hope this helps. I'm taking my son to school the first day because he can't carry all of this stuff by himself. And.....make sure that this little kindergartner has all her paperwork turned in like shot records, birth certificate, Social Security Card, physical forms, and whatever is required. You may need to call the school to find out more details.

  19. This is the list for my daughter who is starting kindergarten this year as well.

1 pack of 10 markers classic colors broad line

1 pack of 8 large crayons

1 4 oz. bottle of glue

    1 pack of 10 yellow #2 pencils

    1 plastic 2 pocket folder

    1 box of facial tissues

    15 dollar classroom donation

Not sure why they call it a donation since it is mandatory to give it.

  20. Sorry, *we* can't help you, but her school most certainly can.  Her mom should get a school supply list in the mail shortly before school starts.

  21. crayons, glue sticks, pencils and a folder for their work, snack

  22. school supplies extra pair of undies cute clothes and a smile
