Question:

What do you suggest I can do to fix a misunderstanding I have with this co. (Royal Prestige)?

The person who signed me up to buy pots and pans and a water filter from Royal Prestige ordered a water filter cartridge that I never authorized. I called the co. and they told me that not to worry and that it was no problem cancelling it, but that if the UPS co. delivers it to obviously not receive it. But now I'm being held responsible for the cartridge that I never received nor saw because UPS claims that they did delivered it and that they left it at my door. I never sign for no package so why is UPS holding me responsible for it? If they indeed left it at my door then I guess someone must of stolen it (they should know better that leaving things at the mercy of dishonest people). I never ordered anything in the first place and I never saw any package left at my door and yet I'm being held responsible. Any ideas?

  2. The smart thing to do would be to advise the Attorney General's office in your state and send them the paperwork or bills you have received with an explanation. That should take care of it.
