had an awful time when i was in paris.  a couple walked up to my table at a cafe, they were holding a box and speaking french to me and the only word i understood was "explosion" (with stupid french emphasis).

I was 15 at the time...  i mean, really?  get a hobby.

I was only there for 4 days and i had 3 different instances of people messing with me like that.

First time I went to Paris, I fell in love with Paris. Very beautiful, cultured, love the language. However, my experience with the French was terrible. I found them to be rude and unwelcoming. I was pushed and shoved without apologies, not helped when I asked for it, ripped off.

However, luckily that didn't stop me from going back to Paris. My second trip was better. Again had a lovely time there, and the French were much more polite and helpful and friendly. Even came up to me and asked if I need help when I looked lost.

Since then I've been making regular trips to Paris because I simply love it there, and hope to live there one day.

No offence but everything is over priced!

I went for a week to Paris and i got chared 7 Euro for a cup of tea!

1 euro = 70p

£5.60 for a cup of tea!

Although i do like there taste in fashion with their designers.

Oh and also when were on the tube there was an elderly french woman struggaling her bags she got on the tube and got it caught in the door, i helped her with my friend yet nobody else even showed a dot of sympathy!

I'm French too! Bonjour!

France is very beautiful and the whole country is filled with beautiful sites and monuments. There are some beautiful villages and Paris is an amazing city. The French are very kind but they are not open and overly sympathetic like, let's say, the Americans, so that is why some people may say that the French are rude... Overall, France is awesome and so are the French.
