July 19th-21st my bf and I had protected s*x 3 times. We used a condom containing spermicide and he pulled out before ejaculation each time.

For some reason I started to worry about being pregnant---thus my period was a week late. During the week that it was supposed to hit, I took 4 pregnancy tests, all were negative.

The following week I got my period (it was 2 weeks ago today). I read about women saying yes you can still have your period and be pregnant etc.

I had my normal cramping that comes w/ the period etc. I was wondering if you think I could still be pregnant. Used protection and got a period...

I am getting on birth control so please do not be rude. I am just asking for some simple clarification. Thank you.

  1. you should go to the doctors to have them do blood work to make sure  i took at home pregnancy test they said negative month later i was pregnant

  2. More than likely you are not!!

  3. Stress can cause your period to be late, I think that is your case. No, I don't think you are pregnant. But Good Luck to ya!

  4. That happened to me alot....I'd worry so much about being pregnant that my period would be late. It's normal. I wouldn't worry at all especially since you took 4 test. If you're still worried just wait it out a little longer. If you are you'll start to get symptoms of some sort I'm sure ie. tender breast, really tired....ect . Goodluck!

  5. VERY unlikely-you were safe, you have had your period and had negative pregnancy tests.

It is possible to bleed during pregnancy but it's rarely a proper period-a little light spotting for a y or 2 around your period. was your period normal-although it was a bit late, was the bleeding the same amount and for the usual length of time for you? If so then it is quite likely that it was your real period.

If you are in any doubt still, go to your doctors and ask for a blood test to be sure. But it sure sounds to me like you aren't! Good luck!

  6. No. the chance of you being prego is very slim. Stress can cause a abnormal dis-balance therefore your period was late. It is also quite normal for your period to change cycles at least every three months or so depending on the person. Don't worry too much. Take another pregnancy test if you need to. :3

  7. You are likely not pregnant. Im not being rude but you used a condom and you pulled out plus you got you period. Your mind is a very powerful thing. Its so powerful it can make you think you are pregnant to the point where u gain pregnancy belly weight or ever have other symptoms. Anyhow i dont think you are but only you can be sure. Good luck

  8. I would seriously doubt your pregnant if you had a normal period...by normal I mean a normal flow and the average length that it usually is. It is common to have a late period from time to time ESPECIALLY if you were worrying alot about being pregnant or very stressed during that time. Women having thier period while pregnant is not very common so the fact that you had protected s*x and eventually started your period, not  to mention that all four tests were negative would pretty much rule out pregnancy. If your still very paranoid about it then take another test in the morning ( when pregnancy hormone is most concentrated) but I would bet you are not pregnant so try and take a deep breathe and relax, Im sure your fine!

  9. i wouln't stress so much it sounds like you took procautions so i dont think your pregnant , however sometimes stressing on a situation can make you late ,so go with the flow and if in a few weeks you still feel worried take another test .

  10. No the chances are pretty slim to none. You used protection, he pulled out...PLUS you had your period.

    You're fine

  11. I don't think so, but another pregnancy test wouldn't hurt.

  12. There is never any absolute certainty in things like this but the chances of you being pregnant are extremely slim.

using condoms the chances are low. pulling out the chances are low, having your period the chances are low - combine the three there really isn't much chance.

Even using birth control pills there is no absolute certainty you wont get pregnant - in a small minority of cases they fail.

  13. I don't think you are, periods can be screwy.
