What do you think? Can a younger person handle presidency?

Joe Lieberman says a young man like Obama can't handle the presidency because he is too young? Since when do you have to have one foot in the grave to qualify? Don't you think these old farts have no clue what it really is like for us out here in the real nitty gritty? Someone young should have more of a clue what younger people are facing these days, and after all, the younger people are the future. What do you think?

  1. well, it's nice to hear people who are in their mid to late 40s being considered too young for something! i don't know WHERE else it happens! too young to lead a multi-national company? certainly not!  must one be around or past age when most people are forced to retire (why? because o slowness of reponsivenesss, less capacity to adapt, getting set in one's ways) to be the most powerful person on earth? look at kennedy, clinton, roosevelt!  it's just a political ploy!

  2. Kennedy was younger than this. He was 43 at inauguration.

    He did alright.

    Obama is 46

  3. Obama is 47.

Clinton was 46, Kennedy was 43, Theodore Roosevelt was 42.

Kennedy had less experience than Obama!

So Lieberman must have a poor grasp of some of the greatest presidents we have had!
