I enjoy all my friendships and we allways need friends even a loner needs someone.I see lots of folks and have had many friendships some great some just ok and a few i could of done with out lol. However i have enjoyed them all and still bask in the happiness and laughter of many.I dont think i will ever get too old for a good laugh or joke or to be a good listener when someone needs me or to help if needed.Thats what living is all about.

  7. I'm like you, I never meet a stranger.  Well maybe for the first couple of minutes but then we're no longer strangers.  And no, you can never have too many friends.  The trick is in having a few very special, good, trust worthy, and loyal friends to stay in close touch with.

  8. I don't think a person can have too many friends.  I noticed that bowling leagues are listed on your information.  I am still in contact with my dear bowling friends from California and have met many here in Washington state when I joined leagues here 10 years ago.  They are some of the best I have ever known.  If you have not already bowled a 300 game or a 700 series, here's hoping that you do so someday.  If not,  it's always fun to try.

    Have a great 78th!

  9. I can remember my mother telling me that I would make many acquaintances in my lifetime, but true friends were something else completely. Didn't take long before I learned the difference, and the true friends I've made over the years are still held near and dear. Even if we fall out of touch for a while, they're still firmly planted in my heart. No, I don't believe you can have too many....that's a blessing if you do!

Hope your birthday's been filled with love and laughter!!

  12. I don't use the term "friend" loosely. A friend is someone who can count on you & you can count on them. I have found out that they are few & far between. (I'm 53). I am very out-going. I talk to everyone. My ex thought I was s******g everyone I spoke to. I worked with guys and a lot of my friends were always guys. I'd rather watch football than go to the mall. Fortunately, my man of 5 years understands this & he has female friends as well. I wish I'd met him years ago.
