The Council of Bishops has been one of the most radical advocates of illegal alien amnesty and open borders in this country. The latest developement: the Catholic Bishop of Providence, Rhode Island, Thomas Tobin, is calling for an end to all Immigration and Customs Enforcement worksite raids. More than 5,000 illegal aliens have been arrested in those raids so far this year. But Tobin isn't just calling for an end to law enforcement. He says ICE agents should be able to opt out of enforcing the law, should be able to decide they just don't want to do it. What do you think Catholic Bishop ICE agents should be able to opt out of enforcing the law , should be able to decide they just don't want to do it.

Not only is this encouraging people sworn to uphold the law to break it, but did you notice that of the 5,000 illegal aliens apprehended thus far this year, over 1,000 were wanted for crimes committed while here illegally? It’s sort of like a double get-out-of-jail free card!

  1. If Catholic ICE agents do not want to follow the law they need to opt out of their job. In fact the Catholic churches should be taxed. They are no longer a religious organization but a criminal organization, aiding and abetting illegal activities. Our whole family has left the catholic church because of their actions.
