Everlast
Clouds scrape the sky, rushing to a newfold scene,
with little to peer upon, stuck in the everlasting dream,
a scene bleached to his soul, forever stalks into sight,
a remembrance eternal of a once majestic life.
Mistakes occupy this land, where oak bleeds into the night,
starry and weary, gravity is seven fold twice,
As a chained behemoth drags, never to stand upright,
he ponders on the meaning, what should become of this paradic life.
He creeps in ecstasy, making his way towards a sight.
A twinkling lumos, an illuminating might,
he peers at the vortex, and reaches his hand towards the light,
the closer he gets, the farther it goes,
a conundrum of reality, logic never grows,
As he plods through the intensity, the force leveling him down,
he sheds a tear for hope, crystalline waves of lace hitting the ground.
All he knows is what he can see around him, but what if that is but a lie,
is the beginning the end to the beginning, will this existence remain forever bound.
A cycle of creeping, advance towards the light,
As soon as you approach the entrance, you’ll get pushed back into plight.
