What do you think Hong Kong would be like if it were still British?

My dad is from Hong Kong and he left before the handover and the anniversary of the handover was about 3 weeks ago and I've been thinking what would things be like if it were still British? I personally support the British and think it would have been great if they remained instead of the communist.
