I felt your body go numb

In my arms

I counted your breaths until you were gone

But I thought I was special

Thought I could save you

But I was another reason

For you to pull the trigger

Rewind to the very moment

I met you

For the first time

I felt alive

Alive eyes opened wide

For the first time I felt so alive

I never knew that I could feel this way

Until you showed me the way

I was swept away

Set on fire

The flames burnt deeply

It felt so good

I just couldn't leave you

I watch your body dead in my arms

Like a trance I watch your blood dance into my hands

The blood from your head

My hands red-----

In your arms I felt so alive

Now here you lie in my arms

Dead the--- fire now ashes
