On July 19th-21st my bf and I had PROTECTED s*x. We used a condom w/ spermicide in it, and he pulled out as well. This happened 3 times and the condom never broke.

My period was over a week late---I believe due to stress. Nevertheless it did come. It was a normal flow lasting about 5-6 days. My period came about ONE MONTH after the last time I had s*x.

I read about these women saying you can still be pregnant and have a period---so do you think I'm pregnant?

(I took 4 hpts right around when my period was due, and one a couple of days before the real one hit---all negative)

Also it's been 5-6 weeks since I last had s*x, and I'm experiencing no symptoms of a pregnancy. Just still a little worried.

Thanks! *I am getting BC so please be nice*

  1. I would say no, I think that your period was late due to stress. You used protection and you had a regular (for you) flow. I do not think that you are pregnant.

  2. no i would not assueme you to be pregnant, expecially if it has been at least 5-6 week you would have felt some type of symptom by now at least sore or tender b*****s or nasuea. i have my self missed a period once due to stress it is very common.  i wouldnt be worried. you could also take a test to make sure and ease your mind a little bit

  3. hey i see why you worry. alot of these women CLAIM they had a period throughout pregnancy but that is not possible. there are some women who SPOT a lil in early pregnancy when their period was due because of low hormones, and thinks that is their period. but trust me its is no where near a normal flow. and besides you did use protection. so dont worry. and im glad u at least protected yourself!

  4. I don't think your pregnant... good job on the birth control...!

  5. I doubt that you are pregnant. Its a good thing you used a condom and pulled out. Not a lot of people has the brains to do that. And remember, when using BC, that its also not a 100% safe. Best to use a condom as well! My boyfriend, as well as his to sisters were conceived while their mother was on the pill!

  6. i would say no. at least you used a condom.. there are so many out there not even doing that much. good luck.

  7. no i think you took enough precaution. i beleive you are safe.

  8. I don't think you're pregnant.  Good job using birth control - keep it up.

  9. If your pregnancy tests came out negative, you are more than likely not pregnant. I had the same scare just last month, except I did not use protection and it was on my most fertile days. I was about a week late and had taken 10 pregnancy tests. Sure enough I started. You can still have a period and be pregnant but if you are not having any symptoms you should be ok. The best thing to do is go to your doctor and have them check it out, just to be sure.

  10. I don't know how old you are, but I do not think you are pregnant. Stress plays a very big roll in your cycle. It is possible you could be going through the early stages of menopause as well. I started mine at 25 and others start as young as 20. You might make an appointment with you OB or regular doc and have some blood work done.

Thank you for having protected s*x....

    good luck to you

  11. I would say you're not pregnant. There are some women who have their period throughout pregnancy, but it's rare.

Dr will perform a test before giving BC so I wouldn't worry about it. They won't give it to you if they find out you're pregnant.

  12. It's true you can be pregnant while still having periods.

But if I read your question right even though your bf was wearing a condom he still pulled out right????

The chances of you being pregnant are slim to be honest.

Your period could well have been late due to stress, cause you were thinking that maybe you were going to get pregnant.

So I wouldn't worry about it, but if you are then do another test to be sure

    Hope it helped.
