  1. Maybe she is taking a backward step because you were dismissive to her last time.

    People need to feel that they are welcome.

    You need to learn how to smile and be polite. Learn a few social skills. Shyness is a killer, it makes one very unhappy.


  2. Just go with the flo.

    Be courteous, be friendly, smile, etc -- but don't push anything.

    Be receptive to her.

    Let her make the move to open up to you.   If she does not open up to you - just continous all of the above things to her.

    Show her lots of courtesy and manners.
