Okay I was looking for someones opinion..My husband and I did the baby dance on my ovulating days this month and we also used an OPK and pre seed..this is our second month trying. I'm exspecting my period in 4 days..and i'm just wondering if I am or not. I didn't get my hopes up this month..but I still would like to know. Do you think I should take a test now or wait until I miss my period..? I ovulated on the 5th and 6th of august. help and give your advice and opinions they would be greatly appreciated

Most of the time women dont get pregnant is because they try to plan it out too much, they worry about it and think about it and stress about the results. The key is to just have fun making a baby and letting mother nature to its job. If its meant to be it will be. I think you are worrying too much about the outcome and not enjoying the ride to get there. Just relax and wait and see if you miss your period, if you miss it in 4 days without thinking about it, then take the test the next morning (5th morning). If its positive, be sure of it wait a couple more days and take another one in the morning. If negative then, try again..dont think about having a baby when you are 'having fun'' just simply have fun and it will be natural for you. Good Luck.

well if you cant wait to test buy a double pack and test with 1st morning urine if negative test again when you miss your period, i was a lucky one who tested positive at 10po, good luck

I would wait just because you don't want to get a false negative and get your hopes up.

waiting drives me CRAZY!! so if you want, you can buy those double or triple preg tests and test in the morning and then test again the day of... and if still neg, and still no AF, then you can test again a few days later!!!

First, which day did you actually ovulate?  If you go by the second date, then your period is due on 8/20.  That's in 5 days, not 4.  Either way, you need to wait until you're late and then test.  If you do it too soon, you'll very likely get a negative which will make you upset and confused.  You won't know if it's right or wrong.  Just wait.  You'll feel so much better about the results if you do.  Good luck!
