  1. McCain stole his thunder.

    McCain wins again.

Obama must be thinking he is screwed at this point

  2. Obama's probably thinking:

"Give him enough rope, and he'll HANG himself!"

  3. Yes,   He had a chance to have a win and the first female VP.  Instead he went with Biden.  It was probably hard for him to see past all the fighting in the primaries with Hillary.

  4. Obama is reminded again that he blew it when he passed over Hillary, the winner of the People's Votes.

And, that Hillary is more qualified than Obama, McCain, Biden, and Palin combined.

  5. That was expected, and would have happened more or less regardless of McCain's choice.  This particular choice, however, forces Obama to regroup and actually provide indications of change, and not just promises.

  6. They are celebrating with champagne.  McCain just did Obama/Biden the biggest favor he could!

  7. McwannabePIMP can't compare to BJ Clinton.

    Nice try though.

  8. b*****d McCain did it again, first my Euro tour and now teh day after the big show

  9. Wringing out the old bowling crying towel!

  10. Normal course of events. They had their gala and now it's time for McCain's gala.

  11. You bet! All the Hillary haters during the primaries are desperately trying to say Hillary is the best. Well then, they should be mad that Obama was too vindictive and hateful to pick her.

  12. They are in the nearest phone booths dialing  '911'  !!    Tee hee.......

  13. Like me, they're too busy laughing at what an idiot mcShame is!

  14. I doubt it. McCains VP choice just looks like a cheap way to get votes.

  15. I cannot imagine a more insulting condescending message for McCain to send to Hillary supporters, and to WOMEN, in general.

It is flat-out callling women stupid, simplistic, one-issue voters who just want to vote for a woman ... *ANY* woman ... regardless of name recognition, qualifications, or political views.

It is saying, flat-out "Women don't care about issues.  Women don't care whether a candidate has the experience to run the country.  They don't worry their pretty little heads about whether a candidate agrees with their political views ... because women don't *HAVE* political views.   Women are just vapid sheep who just want to vote for a woman ... *ANY* woman.  Period."

    McCain is calling women IDIOTS.

I think the Obama's are scratching their heads wondering how McCain plans to win by showing how little he thinks of women.

  16. They canceled the "for rent" listing on their Chicago Mansion.^

  17. Sorry they dissed Hillary.

    McCain = Action

    Obama= Talk

    Sarah Palin is Hillary's revenge.

You know Hillary is smiling and so am I.

  18. He's glad McCain just messed up.

  19. The Democrats were not expecting this.  They were counting on McCain to be safe and boring.  They planned on making McCain look as much like Bush as possible. Obama was supposed to be more creative, more original, more for CHANGE.  McCain couldn't deliver CHANGE.

Well, it looks like McCain isn't the same as Bush.  He takes risks, he can deliver change.  He is more open to promoting women than Obama is...

So, the Democrats are trying to say that Palin doesn't have enough experience.  (As Governor, she is the State's Chief Executive.)  She doesn't have foreign experience.  (Neither did Bill Clinton and Obama only learned his on the campaign trail.)  And Palin has been in public office longer than Obama..  Interesting the Democrats have been deflecting attacks on their #1's experience and now they're they are so concerned over the Republican's #2's experience.

So far, I don't think the Democrats have a viable battle plan on Palin.

  20. why didn't I pick a woman?  and he can't critisize her lack of experience because he is inexperienced as well!

  21. no, not at all, i think that mccain just picked her because he was trying to pick up all the extra votes from the girls who were going to vote for hillary just because shes a woman, and now that they have a chance of a girl being president with palin because of mccain's age

  22. I think you got it wrong. The Palin pick doesn't look good for John

  23. Another wedge of evidence to support the argument that people follow the most superficial aspects of a campaign.

The Obamas might be having a bit of a rest.

If you think choice on gender is not tokenism, you're a bit misguided.

  24. McCain made a good pick there now its what the news wants to know all about right now just have to listion to what she says at the rnc and listion to McCain at the rnc and the debates later

  25. They've already won. I'm sure they can care less. The attention on Palin will be short lived.

  26. McCain has already received a 5 point boost from Sarah Palin who is more intelligent, more energetic and more of a leader then the Pitiful Biden and Goofy looking Obama.

  27. They are probably relaxing waiting for the novelty of the Palin 15 minutes of fame to wear off. It will last until September 8 or 9th and then she will have to do more than just look cute.

  28. Obama is now telling her wife and kids to start packing their belongings because they now will move into a much bigger white home for the next 8 years!

  29. ABSOLUTELY! LOl and its great! he chose the safe bet (biden), instead of the strong bet. (Hitlary)

    Gambled and lost.

Just like the people that got adjustible mortgages

  30. I think Obama is really thinking that his ticket is screwed!  And rightly so!  I think McCain made a great and bold move and the GOP ticket will soar like an eagle through the rest of the election process and land squarely and very securely in the White House!

  31. I don't think John McCain's little VP trick is causing Obama/Biden to lose any sleep. McCain knew he had to go to drastic measures to become elected. He's going for the female vote and hopefully some of Hillary's stubborn supporters. Obama/Biden have gotten much attention in this week alone. 38 million viewers watched his acceptance speech, which is more than the Oscars, Other acceptance speeches given from previous presidents alone. I don't think they are hurting for any attention.
