What do you think ... U.S. Open?

Question

In the first round ... Tiger, Phil, and Scott. They might stay together until the weekend ( 2 of them anyway ). I have a feeling the winner of the U.S. Open will come out of this group. Golf can't wait for a natural match up between Tiger and Phil in a major, now they just manufacture one in the first round.

I know I'm going against the grain of popular opinion here, but I don't like Tiger or Phil in this one.  I know Tiger has a great history at Torrey Pines, but the course will be setup so much different for the US Open than ever before.  It'll be brutal, and coming off a knee injury I'm not sure I'd bet on Tiger.  Phil will NEVER win an US Open.  He doesn't play smart enough.  Phil always has the need to create tough shots, and with a US Open set-up, you can't play that way.  Conservative play is what scores in the Open.

I personally like Stewart Cink in this one.  He's played well all season so far and has yet to breakthrough for a win.  He's played consistantly well, which for the US Open is good.  I won't make him my pick just yet, but I like him as a top contender.

It's a good assumtion but consider these few questions: Will phil choke and has he gotten over his horrible ending a few years ago. 2. Will tiger's knee hold up but let's face i think tiger is goin to take the open. 3. Not to be rude but i dont think that scott has got it he has yet to show that he can be on the leaderboard consistantly   can he make it?
