  1. A bit of a twist you know? All these things will happen and at the end your like oohhh!! and it all adds together...get the answers to why people do thins. :P somethin like that

  2. A good plot, strong characters.

  3. I think it needs a strong plot, that's unique from all other books a lot of people had read.  For example, most people don't want to read a book about:

    1. vampires in love with a mortal

    2. a school of wizardry

Because they'd just look like rip-offs.

I think the book needs a significant amount of action, like a good chase scene or a really great villain.

It also needs a romantic subplot. Or a romantic book needs an exciting subplot.  (action books need a romantic subplot, romantic books need an action subplot.)

It also needs to have great main characters and supporting characters that have distinct personalities, and the reader should be able to relate to at least one.

    In summary:

    1. strong plot with subplot

    2. action, drama, romance, and comedy (different amounts depending on the genre)

    3. good characters

  4. Characters whose names i like. I know it's sorta shallow and stupid, but if i don't like there name i cant get into the story.

  5. A good plot, setting, character and all other elements will only work if you can keep your reader's interest.

It's what will make people read, reread and reread your story.

It's what makes your readers hang on every word you wrote and every action the characters do.

It's what makes people hold on to your book to the very last page.

Keep your readers interested. It works magic.

  6. A great plot, depth, excellent writing, and most importantly, entertaining and realistic enough to where you feel you are apart of that book.

  7. great/believable characters

    and a good plot

i dont want to read a book about a lost tomatoe lol but id read one that would capture me and really interest me (like a vampire romance novel)

it has to be believable but sometimes still fake..i dont know i mean you read

see you in less than 5 hours! (for a sleepover too)

  8. Well, there are a bunch of things you'd need - some sort of conflict, an action or event, an environment etc. But you could have the best setup in history and if your characters are flat the story won't hold up.

I think what I'm saying is that you need dynamic, interesting, flawed characters for your reader to care about before you get too caught up in where you want to put them or what you want to do to them. Give me someone I care about and I'll read all the way though because I want to know what happens to this person.

    Good luck ; )

  9. a great plot. and lots of spontaneity.
