Your question is confusing.  Music is a wonderful tool for teaching. I used familiar tunes and wrote new words that taught concepts.  

As for nurturing children, they love to sing the same songs over and over.  It gives them a sense of security.  They like routines.  Music is also soothing during rest times.  I used to play classical music, such as nocturnes by Chopin as the children rested.  

Another idea I used was to let the students choose their favorite songs to sing.
