As a Knicks fan I am not too thrilled about telent Knicks aquired in this trade. Balkman is a good player, who can defend and play all 5 positions. But those two players come relatively cheap, clear out log jam at small forward and Knicks also received second round pick in 2010.

What do you think about this trade?

  1. a very useful trade for the knicks!!!

  2. as a nuggets fan, i feel so much elated knowing that balkman is now a nugget,

i wish he would be comfortable playing with melo, AI and the rest of the guys in denver nuggets

welcome to the nuggets assocation BALKMAN

  3. pretty good for Denver

    pretty bad for New York

    ...

For Denver in this offseason, I think they should get a young but producing point guard, and they need a decent center for as little money as possible... sign Francisco Elson for example.

  4. denver gets a defensive foward to back up martin. so they won this trade

knicks messed up. they get a pick, a point who is young, also a small foward in green.

that means the 6th pick they drafted a sf in gallanari was useless

  5. i love it finally they get a defensive player all they need is a decent center who gets a lot of blocks and bam they will make the finals in a few years!

to the answer below me wtf????.....iverson not good enough for u?

  6. it's not a win-win situtation. It only benefits Denver, because Balkman can't score but play good def. Denver already got Melo and Iverson to take care of score. Now Knicks only got 2010 second round pick and some cash. Who are those core players and who are they to build around with? Just like they give up Channing Frye for nothing.
