Question:

What do you think about Barry George, UK

Barry George apparently just said that he is a reformed character and will not follow women any more. Is that not the creepiest statement ever.

I personally still think he was involved, even though he is out having been found not guilty. A man who has thousands of pictures of Jill and other women, a known stalker. Perhaps the case was handled badly by the police, but there is this thing in the back of my mind, that it was him. And now assume he will claim hundred of thousands in compensation. The police still think its him, and if it really wasn't, who, and more importantly why?

  1. i felt sorry for him till i read up on him, he is a nutter, got some serious issues, i know it was wrong but i laughed when i turned on the news this morning and heard him say it couldn't of been me who killed her because i was stalking another women at the time lol, then i thought they must of loved him in prison, he is toooooo weird

  2. When a case is dismissed on appeal, or at the trial for that matter, it does not mean that the person did not do it.  It means that the British justice system is so fair that it will dismiss charges more readily than it will convict.  But the defence statement that he did not have the intelligence to plan such a murder is quite compelling, and I tend to think that there was enough doubt to dismiss the charge.  The problem was a familiar one - when George was on the scene, the police stopped considering other possibilities.

  3. just one more weirdo put back out here with garry glitter

  4. I thought he was being stitched up in the first place,i am really un-interested in Barry George and if you looked at the bigger picture you would realise that there are hundreds if not thousands of people like Mr George roaming communities instead of in mental hospitals or full time care. You will like him even less when you realise how rich he will now be from the honest, good, hard working peoples tax

  5. So you "personally still think" he was guilty, even though there's absolutely no evidence against him. Right! Yes, he is a vile man but that doesn't automatically make him guilty of any crime you want to accuse him of.

I think it's highly implausible and even insulting to suggest that such a clean and clinical killing could have been carried out by this shambling idiot. If George had actually done it there would have been MASSES of forensic evidence against him, and witnesses would have been queuing round the block. Instead, the prosecution case rested on a couple of tiny specks of "evidence" that later turned out to be absolutely worthless.

The police evidently had no real leads so they just thought "let's frame the local nutter" like they did with Colin Stagg, Stefan Kizsko, Stephen Downing, etc. (With Barry George it was obviously easier to make the charge stick, as he is a convicted rapist, unlike those three men who were entirely innocent of anything.)

As for the real murderer? Almost certainly a professional hitman. As frontwoman of Britain's leading anti-crime programme, Dando would certainly have had her enemies in the crime world.

There's also the distinct possibility that she was murdered by a Serbian agent in retaliation for the bombing of Serb TV station RTS just  3 days earlier.

  6. Well lets hope he is a reformed character for all concerned.

The man is simple i don't mean to be disrespectful to him but its true, and plenty of people like this get fixations on people & hoard pictures they see no wrong in it, ok he's been a s*x pest but these crimes are not murder.

The fact of the matter is the police evidence is floored cross contamination happens more than the police would like to admit, they were under pressure to get a conviction and the local drop out fitted the bill.

I personally think it was a professional hit and not the work of the local r****d thats why the police simply cant find who did it.

The police will say its him they aren't going to admit they made a major mistake but the facts are they did, it doesn't look good on them does it, so what they are coming out with i would take with a pinch of salt :)

  7. Guilty as sin. Just like Shaun Jenkins and the McCanns.

  8. could be him i think police should do lie detector test he could not possibly  beat one of them he seems a very strange person his lawyer should not let him claim anything first they should find out who other woman was she might of seen him he should be locked up he is a danger to women even it was not him
