  1. 1. My dad

    2. It's hard to explain, can't really put it in words

    3. I dunno

    4. Sammy Sosa

    5. No

    6. With someone as long as they're the fan of my team

    7. Greg Maddux

    8. No

    9. Albert Pujols, Ozzie Smith, others

    10. Can't think of any, and it's just how hitters adjust and how team read a pitcher

  2. 1. My dad.

    2. I love the unpredictableness of it all. I love how a pitcher can throw a no hitter one day and give up six runs the next.

    3. Yeah, I dated a Yankee fan a couple summers ago.

    4. Hmm...I'd probably have to say Nomar Garciaparra. When I first got into baseball, he was basically the Red Sox's poster boy.

    5. I made a "What Curse?!" sign for Game 3 of the 2004 World Series.

    6. If I'm at home, by myself. If I'm at a game, with someone.

    7. Manny Ramirez and Pedro Martinez.

    8. Well I bought an autographed Jason Varitek jersey on eBay. I think it's real?

    9. Past-- Lou Gehrig. Present-- Derek Jeter

    10. First let me say I've been BEYOND happy that Lugo is on the DL. I miss Mike Lowell. And I think young pitchers struggle as their Major League career progresses because at first, they have lots of confidence from doing well in the minors...once they realize they're not so good, they lose that confidence. And to be a good pitcher you HAVE to be confident. That's my best guess!

EXTRA- Of course I did. :)

  3. I love surveys!  They're my favorite way to kill time lol.

1.Who is the First person who took you to a Baseball Game

~My dad; he took me to Camden Yards when I was really little.

2.What Exactly do you LOVE about Baseball

~There's no time limit, it's a mental game, and anything can happen.

    3. Have you ever dated a Teams rival Fan

~Haha, I wish.  My dad says I'm too young to date.  But I would if I liked him enough; maybe we could argue about our teams. =)

4.Which Baseball Player got you Interested in Baseball

~Cal Ripken Jr., or as I used to say, "Cow" Ripken.  Everyone thought it was cute.  I really thought that was his name. =D

5.Have you ever made a Sign to take to a Baseball games

~No... I go to enjoy the game, not to try to get on camera.

6.When watching a Baseball game, do you prefer to watch it with someone or by yourself.

~Depends.  When I'm scorekeeping, I like watching it by myself.  When I just want to watch for the sake of watching, I like people with me so we can discuss the web gems and great hits. =)

7.Favorite Players who doesn't play for your team.

~Mark DeRosa, David Eckstein, Jacoby Ellsbury, Dustin Pedroia, Vlad Guerrero, David Wright, Hanley Ramirez... I'm sure there's more but no one else immediately comes to mind... Oh, wait.  I like David Ortiz and Derek Jeter moderately.

8.Have you gotten your Favorite Players Autogrpah

~Unfortunately, no.  Ask again in a few months. =)

9.Which Player from your Rivals team , from the past or Present you respect

~Well, I really do respect Mo and Derek Jeter, and the Yankees are my least favorite team.  I just feel like these two guys are good, respectable players and they've been Yankees their entire careers; they didn't just go to NY for more money.

10.Do you miss any player on your team who is on the DL, and why do you think young Pitchers who were good at first Struggle in the Majors .

~I miss Ian Kinsler and David Murphy more than you can imagine right now.  And I think it's just a different atmosphere, plus the hitters are a lot better and more experienced.

10.Do you miss any player on your team who is on the DL, and why do you think young Pitchers who were good at first Struggle in the Majors .  yeah i miss Izzy!! He had season ending surgery.. man if he were here he would help the angels get out of that offensive slump. I'm thinking that there is quite a big difference b/w minor leagues and major leagues. The hitters are more knowledgable, they've been around the game more.. and nerves

    Always do.

  8. Yay:D It was getting a little boring here

    1. My Dad

    2. The fact that it is one of the most controversial games possible. You can blame a whole game on an umpire and it just just about opinion. One call can completely change the game. Also, the games are almost always close so even at the end, the losing team is still in striking distance. The game is just so suspenseful.

    3. Nope:P I don't even think we have a rival

    4. Quinton McCracken

    5. Nope. The hands are reserved for the hot dogs:)

    6. I usually watch it by myself but it's more enjoyable with friends.

    7. Josh Beckett, Matt Cain, Ian Snell, Fred Lewis

    8. Not yet:(

    9. Still don't think we have a rival. I guess the BoSox would be our rival so I'd say Beckett

    10. Longo, Crawford, Percival

    EXTRA-That was fun:D

Mentally, they are not ready. They think they have to pitch so much differently, but they actually don't. When they realize it, they can throw well.

  9. 1.Who is the First person who took you to a Baseball Game:  June 23rd, 1985:  Rangers @ the Twins.  My Dad & our neighbor.

2.What Exactly do you LOVE about Baseball:  I love the strategy of the game & the fact that players like John Kruk, David Wells, Kirby Puckett, David Eckstein, & Freddy Patek have all had good careers despite their size.

    3. Have you ever dated a Teams rival Fan:  Being a Twins fan, I would say our rival is the White Sox, but I dated a Yankee fan for a few months & that was tough.

4.Which Baseball Player(s) got you Interested in Baseball: Kirby Puckett, Kent Hrbek, Tom Brunansky, & Frank Viola.

5.Have you ever made a Sign to take to a Baseball games:  Yes, Joe Carter actually put us on TV during a Cubs game in 2001.  He saw our sign during a commercial break & pointed at us to be standing up when they came back.  Sure enough we got on TV,  funny thing is that my buddy ditched work early to go to the game & his boss ended up seeing him.

6.When watching a Baseball game, do you prefer to watch it with someone or by yourself.  If I am watching the Twins, I prefer to watch by myself or with someone who knows what they are talking about.  If I am at a minor league game or just watching a random game on TV I can watch with anyone.

7.Favorite Players who doesn't play for your team.  Torii Hunter & Chris Coste

8.Have you gotten your Favorite Players Autograph:  I got Kirby Puckett's autograph the first game I ever went to, & I ended up getting Torii Hunter's autograph on a team ball in 2006 that was a gift for me via Mike Redmond.

9.Which Player from your Rivals team from the past or present you respect:  I have respect for AJ Pierzynski.  You may laugh & I might get some thumbs down, but when he played for the Twins.  We all loved him.  Now he's gone & he gets booed, he may be somewhat of a jerk, but everyone has to admit he is a gamer, and most fans wouldn't mind having him on their team.

10.Do you miss any player on your team who is on the DL, and why do you think young Pitchers who were good at first Struggle in the Majors .  I miss Michael Cuddyer, but the Twins are doing just fine without him.  Denard Span has been unreal since he's come up.  Young stud pitchers struggle because good hitters figure them out, and with early success it's likely that these pitchers aren't as willing to listen to pitching coaches.  Hitters watch enough tape and figure out ways to get situations in their favor.

    Good Survey!!!  :-)

  10. 1.Who is the First person who took you to a Baseball Game -My dad

2.What Exactly do you LOVE about Baseball -EVERYTHING. The games, the teams, the rivalries, EVERYTHING

    3. Have you ever dated a Teams rival Fan -no

4.Which Baseball Player got you Interested in Baseball -Not a specific player, but one person that kind of did was Eric Chavez

5.Have you ever made a Sign to take to a Baseball games -Yeah

6.When watching a Baseball game, do you prefer to watch it with someone or by yourself.-with my dad or brother

7.Favorite Players who doesn't play for your team. -Grady Sizemore, Ryan Theriot, and Tim Lincecum

8.Have you gotten your Favorite Players Autograph -Nope =[

9.Which Player from your Rivals team , from the past or Present you respect -Vlad

10.Do you miss any player on your team who is on the DL, and why do you think young Pitchers who were good at first Struggle in the Majors . -Yes. I miss a lot of players on the DL, Ryan Sweeney, Eric Chavez, Justin Duchscherer, Keith Foulke, and more. I think they start putting more pressure on themselves and are expected to always do great, so they put pressure on themselves and get really nervous, but it causes them to not play as well.

EXTRA- Did you like my Survey :]

-Yep. Great baseball survey. Here's a star =]

  11. 1. my mom and dad

    5. no.but my sister always makes one

    6. someone so I can high five them

    7. Joe Mauer,Ken Griffey Jr,and Derrek Lee

    8. Yep.

    9. Kirby Puckett because I know he got told he couldn't play as well because of his height, but he definitaly proved everyone who doubted him wrong.

    10. I miss Joe Crede kinda, but he always has back problems so I doubt he's coming back.

I think think young pitchers who were good at first struggle in the Majors because they either don't get enough starts in the first season,or they are facing more talented players.Like for example Clay Buchholz.Last year he got a no-hitter,but now he's facing a higher level of talent, and he also only had 7 starts (2-5),but now he's 2-9.So it may be,for him, that he's facing more players and getting more starts that he's not used to.

    Loved your survey =]
