  1. I think he better get a lawyer son, it better be a real good one.........

  2. Dissapointed.Trouble just follows this guy everywhere. His career is totally over.No team will go near him now.A massive Shame......

  3. I believe it should be.

If it was anyone else I'm pretty sure their careers would be over.

Not only in sport, but in any type of workforce your in.

    What's the difference?

It's a big shame, but I don't think he would want to return anyway.

I just wish people will support him,so he can see how much people care, not drag him down anymore than he is.

I know drugs are bad,but he is definitely not the only one.

Would we disown anyone in our family for choosing the wrong path.? I certainly won't.

  4. His career IS over, sadly.

There are things i cant say - sorry- coz its unfair to him and then i wouldnt b told anything again, but its sad because:

    1. he has a **** rep now n his future is screwed

    2. All this attention has turned to him when there are murders and 14yo druggies all around us gettin **** coverage. Shows what we think is important in life

  5. im west coast eagles and i just cant believe it what an idiot he has to be sacked i dont want him in our team even though we lost judd and most likely cousins i still think we are top four team with Butler not playin a game because of injury he'll make a difference and some top draft picks

  6. His career is probably the last thing on his mind at the moment.

I think he will probably still be worrying where his next fix is coming from as he is obviously still hooked on the drugs.

First things first, He will have to battle his addiction and if he does that, then I think staying in W.A. all together will be another mistake.

  7. I believe Ben will play again in the future as he is to good of a player not to. Maybe he will end up in the U.K.

If the prohibited drug is just Valium as they say, I have yet to hear of that being to much of a criminal offence. Just giving the Media something to play around with. Who has gone to jail over Valium?

Ben will have to face his own demons which are associated with his addiction and only he can do that. People just leave him be. He will return in his own good time and this will be just a part of his history.

On the other hand, look at the amount of heads that have turned after he appeared shirtless and tattooed. He probably has a bigger following now than he ever did.

Hang in there Ben. The best is yet to come.

  8. I'm sorry, but is anyone really that surprised? A bit of rehab but nothing really changed. He's still hanging out with the same crooked crowd who help him to make the same stupid mistakes.

There may have been a time when i could have felt sorry for him. But his arrogance regarding his choices and his continued disrespect for those who have tried to help him leaves me with nothing but frustration.

He should kiss his AFL career goodbye. I think all his second chances and 'three strikes' have come and gone.

  9. At the risk of repeating myself for the 4th time....this question has been asked over and over today!!

I could cut and paste my answer from another post I did but I cbf'd today...

  10. West Coast should De-list him and just start a rebuilding phase as should Fremantle both WA teams are going to struggle anyway next year.

  11. He is just one out of probably a hundred really serious drug users in the AFL.

It's a disgrace to the sport.  I think I might steer my son towards playing golf.  No team mates there to pressure you or influence you to take drugs.

  12. It's so over and you know it
