This is the cover that Ben Folds did of Dr. Dre's "b*****s Ain't ****" song. Does his version affect you differently or show how this song is more or less misogynistic?

  1. It reminded me of Alanis Morissette's parody of "My Humps" by Fergie. It seems like a humorous jab at current artists who lack talent.

Does this version affect me differently or highlight the misogynistic tone? Yes, I think it definitely makes it more apparent, if only for the slowed tempo and better articulation.

  2. I love it when non-rap artists do a cover of a rap song. That was funny. Stop taking things so personally.

  3. I think it's funny and have been a fan of his for over 10 years. He did it to make fun of the song. He's been married a lot though, and is on his fourth wife. He has like three or four kids.

    It's in jest, this cover.

I've heard the Boys in the Hood cover too. It's hilarious!

  4. It's like the country version of "Gin & Juice" by the Gourds, or someone.

  5. I actually think that was first said back in 250 B.C. by Plato. - it has been almost gospel ever since.

  6. AHHHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! AHHHHHHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! It's around 6pm that GWS gets crazy!

EDIT: This gives me an idea to sing any song I don't like with nothing different but the instrumental.

  7. It reminded me of the "boyz in the hood" cover by Dynamite Hack

    look it up on youtube
