  1. Subject: IT IS NOT GLOBAL WARMING, BUT IT IS A SHIFT IN CLIMATE ZONES DUE TO THE DECREASE IN THE EARTH'S OBLIQUITY

    > The earth's obliquity Angle decreases by 0.47" each

    > year, which changes the focus of the sun's radiation

    > on earth, resulting in climate shifts. As the

    > obliquity angle decreases, the hemispheres change in

    > basic temperature with the south becoming colder and

    > the north becoming warmer.  When the obliquity angle

    > reaches about 22 degrees, it will start to go the

    > other way and the north will get colder again and the

    > south will become warmer.  Obviously, and counter to

    > Al Gores unlearned theories, the warming of the

    > northern hemisphere cannot be stopped by man.  It will

    > stop and reverse itself.  Then the climate shifts we

    > presently experience will be goin the other way.  It

    > is pure logic applied to astro-physical law.

    >

    > It has long been recognized that rather than staying

    > constant, obliquity varies slowly with time as a

    > result of external gravitational influences. The Moon

    > and Sun's tidal torques on Earth's ellipticity give

    > rise to the familiar 26,000-year astronomical

    > precession, while the gravitational pull of other

    > planets, primarily Jupiter and Venus, slowly perturbs

    > the orientation of the ecliptic plane in space. The

    > combined effect observed by Earth dwellers is an

    > ~41,000-year oscillation in the obliquity with overall

    > amplitude typically of about 2°. This oscillation is

    > one of the three Milankovitch cycles that ultimately

    > affect our long-term climatic system and serve as the

    > pacemaker of ice ages. The present-day obliquity

    > happens to be close to the mean value, and we are in

    > the middle of a downswing (see figure (1)). In terms

    > of real distance on the Earth's surface, one should

    > see a slow equatorward shift of the tropics by 14.4 m

    > a year-well over 1 km in a century!

  2. Obama-Biden 08...dream team..go bams and biden

  3. This single Biden statement convinced me that he is just another politician:

"If the predictions of the scientists are correct....".

He has allowed himself a way out ...... depending on whether or not the 'cause' is successful or a failure, as more and more studies are done.

He can cover both bets by saying...... "Whoa, I never said that the scientists were correct....I said IF they were correct!"

Politicians reacte to votes...... not reality.

  4. WOW.

I think I' m in love! Finally, a politician who actually understands the situation we're in with the environmental degradation!!

  5. I will answer your question with a QUESTION--

From the article you posted-- and his comments-- do you honestly believe he has even the slightest clue of what needs to be done?

He is against clean coal, coal gasification and liquefaction , and nuclear.... and virtually anything else involving fossil fuels. This eliminates over 95% of our current resources and electrical power generation from expansion.

Wonder what his view would be of WIND TURBINES just offshore-- Delaware????

  6. His policies on these topics are bad and so are his stand of ecconomics.  I think voting for this pair would be a huge mistake,............HUGE!!!!

  7. Biden is now and always has been a poster child for the anti technology religion based on the Club of Rome book the Limits to Growth. The choosing of Biden for the ticket proves my fears of a Exxon funded anti technology administration driving the nation deeper into the control of big oil like the Carter administration is true. We can now truthfully call the new democratic party ticket Carter II and their general policy as population reduction to manageable levels, look down not up because we will make sure humanity keeps its feet firmly anchored on earth where they can not oppose we gods that rule them because it is our destiny!

In other words the new democratic party is against any form of progress that would allow humanity to move out into the universe and the unlimited resources to be found there. They want us locked to the earth where they can control things and forever keep the people their servants and dependent upon them. I see instead of letting the human race achieve new heights of civilization first throughout the solar system and then the universe a group of control hungry Luddite elite’s driving us socially back to the two class system of the middle ages where they ruled and everybody else served or died.

  8. I like his stand on nuclear power plants, we need to find a positive use for the nuclear waste before we continue to produce it.

But He seems to be stuck on ethanol, which is just trading one Carbon fuel for another.

And he seem to thing that everyone will be able to buy a new car in 10 to 15 years.

which shows that he is out of contact with the American people.

I also wonder if by joint ventrures with China, and India, does that mean more jobs for them and less for American?

  9. If we do not drill soon we will not have enough fuel to defend ourself.
