I think it was quite a rip-off! The Eclipse was better....But i can't deny the fact that Jacob Black and Bella's daughter are cute together.....AND JACOB IS SO SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I think it was an amazingly written book with clever ties to hold the book together. I can understand why people weren't happy with it also though. I fell as though its hard to relate to the characters in this book,  she has left a lot of questions unanswered, and the storylines were a little more than predictable

But i think overall it was a tremendous book and i will certainly be reading it again.

  2. I am very mixed with breaking dawn.

While i was reading it i loved it, but as i got further into the book i got slightly bored and by the end i was forcing myself to read. The ending, i feel, was appalling. Stephenie really messed this book up with the ending, I felt that she just wanted to get it over and done with so made it ' Happily ever after'  and nothing more.

The volturi scene was just plane stupid! After pages and pages of building up to a huge battle it just ended with a few apoligies and the voluturi leaving with not too much trouble.

Nothing really made sense, from what the volturi were made out to be in the previous books, this would never of happend!

And that leads me to this point : the characters seemed to have had a personality change.

Bella in breaking dawn was just wierd. I don't know how to explain it but she just wasn't the same bella. s*x crazed? obessed with having a child? IT just seemed so out of the blue.

Im not going to talk about all of the characters because that would just take too long.

The thing with nessie and jacob i admit was sweet and i dont agree that it is pedophilic, slightly wierd, but not pedophilic!!

The only character i think that came out well from breaking dawn, was Jacob. It was the first time you really got to know him well, and i believe it made a lot of ' Jacob Haters' convert!

But all in all this book was a pure and utter waste of time.

  3. I have discussed this so many times it's ridiculous but anyway...life goes on :P

So basically I think that Breaking Dawn read far too much like a fan-fiction. There was too much build-up to oh such a flat ending. I mean, I respect Stephenie Meyer so much, she's one of my idols. I started writing thanks to her, but she tried too hard to make everyone happy and life never works that way. Everything turned out sugar-coated for Bella. Don't you think that after all the trouble she went through with Jacob and Edward that there should have been some massive conflict? And how many people thought someone would die? I mean, I didn't want anyone to, but the whole build-up with the Volturri kind of made it seem inevitable, and then all of a sudden they sort it out with one conversation?... Too much like fan fiction. I've written some before, and I didn't bother explaining any conflict because I find it boring to write about fights, but Stephenie always involves action, what happened this time?... I think that she's going to lose some very dear male readers at Breaking Dawn...

Can I also say, what the h**l was with the werewolves actually being shape-shifters? Is it just me or did that ruin the entire series on Jacob's behalf?

I think that Jacob imprinting on Reneesme was a little odd, and once again too candy-coated, but then reading about how much he takes care of her is really sweet :)

Twilight and Eclipse were by far the best books in the Saga, Eclipse being my favourite :)

  4. everyone i know face 2 face loved it same as me

i love jasper. hes sweet and caring

i hated jacob before breaking dawn now i dont mind him. i just hate him in the previous books

and breaking dawn was my favourite

  5. Everyone I've talked to says that they are disappointed by the book, but I disagree. I loved it! Just because Stephenie Meyer threw us some curve balls (some BIG curve balls) and did the unexpected with her characters, doesn't mean that the book was bad. Most people are disappoined because it didn't end the way that they predicted it would. I happened to love the book. It was exciting from beginning to end and it was a great way to end the series. Everyone was happy and lived happily ever after. (or Forever)

  6. I loved it, the others were better but it was still great! I don't agree that they are "cute together" and I think Jacob is a total pain in the ars* and if I were Bella I would tell him to get lost he is so annoying.

  7. It was clearly different from the others, but I guess it needed to be this way to give the serie an end.

On the whole I like the happy endings, the dialogs were good as always as the descriptions of bella's feelings; Jacob part was simply hilarious though as soon as I started reading his book and He meets Quil and Claire(?) it became obvious what was going to happen It was also cool to see the super Bella... none of the books to me compares to the first, but one of the strong points of the serie are the characters and it's just too good to enjoy them... so I liked it and I'm totally happy with the way things have turned out for all of them... even Edward in the end got past his pessimism. So...no complaints here ;)

Though I didn't understand a few points... I had thought at first that Alice couldn't see Nessie 'cause her fate was deeply entwined with Jacob's but it turns out she can't see the others half-blood as well... And I'm still wondering if the Volturi will start giving birth to babies as well and how could Bella have left so unresolved the Renee matter...  but these are just little curiosities :)

  8. I have always loathed Jacob Black. But because of Breaking Dawn I like him. I think that Breaking Dawn was the worst of all the 4 books. But again because of Breaking Dawn I'm no longer in love with Edward. I'm now in love with Emmett.

  9. Gotta love Jacob.

I love Edward back in Twilight and New Moon a lot.

Then in Eclipse I was like.. I'm starting to like Jacob but it's so wrong

because I just love Edward a bit more.

But then in Eclipse I was all for Jacob, so basically..

the only reason that I liked this book was mostly because Jacob and maybe the rest of the Cullens besides Edward and Bella.

Both Edward and Bella were very different and not the same as I used to love. Like, I miss the simplicity of you know the book.

Anywho, so far.. it's definitely not the greatest book but I do like it.

  10. I didn't enjoy breaking dawn as much as i enjoyed the first three books. Maybe because i never thought of Edward becoming a father and i just don't feel right about it..
