  1. The XS in my opinion is just a re-done XTi. Many things are the same. Here are some differences.

XS uses SD cards, XTi uses CF cards

XS has 7 focus points, XTi has 9

XS uses the Digic III, XTi uses Digic II (processing chip/brain)

XS uses a different battery and battery grip than the XT/XTi.

XS can shoot a burst of 514 frames without stopping (sports photogs like this stuff)

The kit lens is probably better on the XS

Some things that are the same.

    10mp

    ISO range (100-1600)

    3 frames per second

    The bundled software

In all, if you already have an XTi or XSi it doesnt give you reason to go buy another camera. If you dont already have a camera it gives you something to think about

  2. While it sounds like a camera worth investigating their has been no english language in depth review,  that I am aware of yet.

The link you posted  is partly gibberish. I suspect it is a bad translation of an unknown reviewer's

    opinion.

Before I bought it, I would wait for actual hand on, in depth, reviews by known reviewers like dpreview.com.

  3. its a good camera but personally i believe that Nikons are better.
