Question:

What do you think about Differin Gel?

I've been using it for about four days and I'm not really sure what to think of it. It dries out the skin and makes it a lot more sensitive, but it has also somewhat decreased the acne on my face, but I can't really say for sure because I've been stressed lately and it's probably created some more zits.

How long will it be until I get noticeably clearer skin?

What are your thoughts?

  1. For me the combination of Tea Tree Oil soap and the Clindamycin cream is the best for Acne and pimple.

For acne scars and blemishes my wife use papaya kojic and licorice base soap and cream which are available online. These work wonders. Maybe it will work on you too. Try searching it through Google 'shopaholic's bargains'

  2. i'm using it right now along with bezaclin a 5% benzoil peroxide(bp). and i have to say it works GREAT! the differin does make you break out at first but that's only because it's bringing the bacteria to the surface and the bp kills it.

i do this along with exercizing to clear out the toxins in the body and drinking LOTS of water. :D

do this. it's helping me right now. although now i need a cure for bacne...:(

  3. Differin is pretty good.

I used it for about a year, and now use it on and off whenever I have a pimple.

Just make sure you don't go out in the sun when you have some on, that's really important. It pretty much burns your skin. Use it before you go to bed, and in the morning wash your face with a mild cleanser, and apply some moisturizer with SPF especially if you tend to be in the sun and such.

And as someone already mentioned, it does worse to get better, so don't worry. Plus, 4 days is a little bit too early to judge ;)

  4. I've used it a few times, it sort of works.

But, i've heard a lot of people say it bleaches their face.

    So be careful!
