Italy is choked by an overflow of laws and bad burocracy. Diffuse arrogance, ignorance and outgrowing selfishness.

I love Italians!!! I love the country too. There lifestyles are so much better than over here. It's sad tho because they are becoming more "americanized" if that makes any sense. I love Italy though. I wanna go again someday.

It's a messed up country but I love it and its people dearly... and I have Italy to thank for my wonderful boyfriend!!!

We love Italy and Italians.  It's such a wonderful country to travel in... easy to get around, great people, great history, great food.  We don't have a page on Italy yet, but that's because there's so much of the world to see and write about!

My daughters father was from the north of Italy, he was the best father I had every seen. She was only three when he passed, but even after 13 years she remembers things they did together.

Her step dad is from Naples, he would give his life for her.

Even thou we have been separated since 3 years he lives next door, so he can be close to us.

I would say that Italians are the kind of people, when you enter their lives your forever FAMILIA.

i'm italian.............. italy's awesome but we've got a lot of problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

the governement isn't good, in naples there's  a waste problem and other......................................

but here there are fantastic monuments and pizza and spaghetti are really good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

italians are very nice but in the north (especially in big cities as milan and turin) people is somewhat closed.................... so if you want to meet nice people go in rome, florence or rimini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but not everybody in the north is close...............

I just finished reading a book by one of my favorite authors, an Italian professor named Umberto Eco.  It was a book of essays entitled "Turning Back the Clock," which gives a lot of insight into Italian culture and politics.

Italy is awesome. The history, the culture, the people, the atmosphere, everything about Italy is beautiful. It is definitely a great place to see.

My wife is Italian. She had immigrated when she was 4 years old. She was 50 when I took her back for a retirement holiday. She fell in love with the country. We returned again last fall. This time we took her sister with us. The two of them are still talking about the trip and are planning another one sooner rather than later.

I used to live in Rome and absolutely loved it. I speak Italian so no problems there - in fact, I got on so well with my Roman friends that they made me an honorary Roman!

Can't wait to go back!  Italia, tu mi manchi!
