  1. toseland will do ok, i reckon about the same as edwards, and i rate edwards as the superior rider.

the yamaha will still struggle though.

  2. Yeah ... im with Wiggysan on this one.

  3. I think it is fantastic for JT to be in MotoGP.

He is by far the best talent we have [ for that class ] and I feel with the latest test results coming in, he is going to do just fine.

Its long over time aswell that the UK had a full time on a decent bit of kit.

I for one are very happy to see JT 52 mixing it with the big boys, and wish him all the best for 2008 / 09

    .

  4. I think he's the best hope for a decent finish that Britain has had for years.

It may take him a season to get to grips with the new tracks and different characteristics of a moto gp bike, but by the end of the season and next, I'm sure he'll be a regular top 5 finisher.

  5. i think it,s great but he wont have the same speck engine as rossi till the third race one thing against james he does not know a lot of the circuits as all the other riders do he is the best hope we have had for years and i hope he does really well best of luck to him.

  6. wiggysan has it spot-on;don`t follow Moto GP too closely, but Toseland is one name I know abut-he`s d**n good

  7. from a british point of view its brilliant that we have somebody of james pedigree mixing it it with the 'big' boys it certainly  makes it more exiting and appealing to the neutral rossi all the way for me

  8. I think it's great, I'll be cheering him on, I'm tipping him for a podium, be brill to see a JT at Donnington

  9. Hey Sardo

I'm glad to see him there, and I think that though Shuggie mentioned he may not be the main event this year (is his bike a championship winner?) I do think he will show his mettle at the tracks he's familiar with - and really ring the neck of that Yammi along the way!!

Gonna be interesting to see if he's top rookie - my money may be going on him for that title this year!

  10. I can't see as an overall package that the arrival of JT makes Moto GP better than the arrival of Divizisoso, Lorenzo or anyone else.

If you are asking from a Brit point of view, then I guess to many it does but I have never subscribed to the idea of backing someone just because they are from the same country as I am. Carl Fogarty being one of the prime examples in that instance - a great rider but an absolute embarrasement in almost every other way as far as I am concerned. In this case however not only do I actually rate JT as a top rider and more importantly a true class act as a human being as well but the fact that he is a Brit is a reason to give him an extra cheer in this case.

I repeat however to answer your question as worded then I don't think he specifically makes the race series itself any better or worse by his arrival.
