  1. Does the word "wasted" mean the same as the word "sacrificed?"?

On CBS television on Feb. 28, McCain criticized management of the war, saying, "We've wasted a lot of our most precious treasure, which is American lives, over there." He apologized the next day saying he should have said "sacrificed."

  2. I honestly don't think he's mentally stable to run the country.

his judgments are horrible, from voting 95% of the time with bush,to voting for the Iraq war,too picking a VP after ONE meeting.

  3. Honest. Respectable. A Maverick.... Hold on... I can't even TYPE that with a straight face!!! LOL!!!

Seriously though, I think he's an idiot, I appreciate his service for this country, but that does not entitle him to the Presidency. He's a Bush Sider Right-wing zealot.\

I think that him picking Palin is a desperate attempt to get disgruntled Hillary voters, and I hope he falls flat on his face!!

    Obama/Biden 08!!!

  4. Smart dude. I think Obama is better, but I don't think McCain would make a bad president.

As for age, it wasn't really an issue until he chose Palin.

  5. sold out to the right wingers

  6. that WARMONGER.

  7. how old are you 11 or 12 look at the history of presidents and there ages now its way past your bed time goon night

  8. I do not think he is capable of running this country. Simple as that. I also believe his choice of running mate is desperate and poorly planned. A hardcore fundamentalist like Palin can only alienate those not aligned with her narrow Christian centered agenda.

  9. McCain as a political leader scares the eff out of me.

(and I live in Arizona - the state he represents as a Senator)

  10. He's only too old to the ageist Democrats

  11. To be competely honest he seems sneaky. He never really answers any questions, and he picked a woman vice president simply because she is a woman.

He was a prisoner of war and seems a bit crazy as a result.

Who wants a hundred year war?

I personally don't want to see the men/women of my country fighting some war that has been going on in the middle east since before the times of jesus christ. getting involved in this whole pakistan/israel stuff is a mistake.

  12. As Ludacris so wisely stated, "McCain doesn't belong in ANY chair unless he's PARALYZED!"

  13. well i respect him but i don't support him. i would never disrespect him running for president even though i prefer obama. i personally think he may be a little too old.

  14. He's respectable and doesn't get caught in lies as Obama has done.  We need someone honest - and he is.  His running mate is spectacular as well!   With age comes wisdom - he's served our country a long time and deserves a chance to make it better.

  15. maybe your to young or immature to talk about politics

but about him i think hes far to liberal like his choice of vp though

  16. I think he used to be a Maverick (that I liked) who is now (unfortunately) doomed to the same puppet fate that we see in GW Bush now.  The slew of recent changes in his views & what not emulate the Roveism that is GW Bush - if elected his term will be a most definite extension of the whoever controls GW Bush term.  McCain/Palin = Puppeteer/Roveism '08

  17. I think this way, John McCain can also pledge if elected to serve as 'president for life'.

there's another presidential candidate on your ballot besides McCain or Obama. But I'll leave that to another yahoo answer.....

  18. McCain is a like a giant carton of spoiled milk, way past his expiration date.

  19. well to me once you are about 71, it is time to throw in the towel...mccain is the next reagan...lol.....

mccain is okay looking...except he looks like he had gastric bypass surgery with all that sagging skin on the side of his face..what the **** is that about?

  20. I think that Ron Paul should have gotton the Republican bid for nomination, but I still think that McCain is at a ripe enough age to do the job proficiently. Franklin Roosevelt had polio and died in his 50's due a polio infection contracted at child-birth, so it's possible he would die no matter what.

  21. I think that Senator John Mccain's history is one of valor.  I think that anyone who loves their country enough to even want the job should be revered.  Mccain  at least deserves that much respect.  Mccain's glory is that of  war hero.  So you can't really fault him for turning to what he got his glory.  Personally, I dont know him.  but I will not judge any candidate on the basis of their age, gender, or skin color.

  22. theres no question mccain is a great man, done alot of good things..BUT hes not the man for the job that now needs to be done..*cleaning up Bushs' messes.* we dont want 4 more years.. 8 IS enough!

  23. He is a vet who was POW and suffered greatly while a POW.  He should be honored for this.

As a Presidential candidate, he is pro-life and hence against Roe V Wade.  He likes war a little too much.  He does not believe in any governmental intervention re healthcare or other social programs.

In short, Sen. McCain who voted 90% of the time with Herr Bush is much too old and much too conservative for my taste.

We were lied into a war in Iraq that never needed to be fought while at the same time we diluted our efforts in a necessary war in Afghanistan and allowed Bin Laden to escape into the mountains of Pakistan.  Sen. McCain voted and supported Herr Bush in all of this.  For this reason...and many others, including his ignorance of economic issues...I can honor him as a vet, but cannot vote for him as a President.

    Go Obama.

  24. I think he is a war hero and patriot and an effective leader.

I do not agree with his ideologies so therefore  I cannot vote for him.

  25. Loosing his mind

    Old

Out of touch with everyday people

    Sold out to Oil/Gas companys

Evil to insult other people's kids to take swipes

    Ready to retire.

    L.O.O.S.E.R.

  26. He has my respect even though I do not support him.

There definitely should be an age limit since the rest of us get kicked out of our jobs often before even the age of 60.

By the way our next agenda should be term limits for senators and congressmen and age limits for

    Supreme Court Justices.
