  1. I think he's just doing it for Clinton supporters' votes, honestly. But I don't care anyway cuz Barack Obama's gonna win =]

  6. I would have prefered that he pick Romney, but McCain is a gambler and he could turn out to be crazy like a fox. This election just got even more interesting. The plot thickens....

I am Thrilled!  I have watching this Lady on Cable and the News media!  I have friends who live in Alaska and Love Her Dearly!  She Stands by What is Right!  She is Known for not going according to the Polls and she is known Not To Back Down!  I feel that Sarah Palin is an Excellent Choice to Be Our Next Vice President under John McCain!  She is a Fire Cracker!  Peace to All and God Bless!  Jane.

  16. I still don't think I'll vote McCain, but atleast I know 1, Obama probably is not going to get elected and 2, if McCain is elected, we might still have SOME hope. I'd vote Palin if she was running for president.

  17. I think that she's an interesting choice geared to satisfy both conservatives and Hillary supporters looking for a woman on any ticket.

    She seems articulate without a teleprompter but we won't know much for a few days and we need to see her debate Biden.

  18. she is an unknown. The only thing this does it shore up the conservative base. Obama still has all the new voters. Hillary women wont vote for her after Hillary goes rabid on this figurehead.

  19. Yeah, an ultra right wing conservative whose currently under federal investigation on charges of corruption, and just two years ago was mayor of a town smaller than my neighborhood; great choice!

    This is the final nail in the coffin of McCain's claim to have better judgement than Obama.  I'll take the lifelong senator who is the Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and doesn't have to worry about the FBI kicking down his front door any day now.

  21. I find her policy for controlling large mammalian carnivore populations in Alaska to be appalling.  I cannot vote for her in good conscious, even if she would only be vice president.

  22. i would have liked him to pick Romney but once i thought about it..... its an excellent choice.  think of all the women that just might change their vote because she is a woman. think of all the soccer moms that will vote for mccain now. its very smart of him and very strategic  

  23. Palin is a Splendid choice and she will make a Wonderful VP (and future President)! It just goes to show that McCain is a true maverick & genius who picks likewise!

    Palin:

    * has the record of the most beloved Governor in the US by her state (Alaska)

    * is a vocal, huge proponent of American energy independence & Alaskan drilling

    * has actually been leading people for the past several while Obama & Biden NEVER have led anyone!

    * shelved her state's pork-laden Bridge to Nowhere that McCain has ridiculed on the trail

    * will join McCain in fighting hard against earmarks

    * is about as far outside the Beltway as you can get

    * ran on the agenda of stopping wasteful gov't spending

    * is the mother of 5 kids!

    * has had her son deploy to Iraq

    * is for a strong US defense

    * is an ice fisherman

    * is a moose hunter

    * is a small business owner and a lifetime NRA member

    All in all, she's a truly fine leader, citizen and patriot - who truly represents Americana (Motherhood & Apple pie)!
