I think she's a terrible role model, and that shes g*y and she screws herself. :)

While I don't look at her as a role model for kids, she is just another overated star that was brought about from Disney (ie. joans brothers, hilary duff, shia le bouff) Disney does a good job in getting their stars, that they see 'have potential', out there.

With the child audience not having many choices in what they watch on television (at least with their parents around haha) theres really only Cartoon Network (which really isnt that popular to the younger audience), Nickelodeon, and the Disney Channel. You would assume that a lot of these kids watch Disney channel as it is the most popular selection for kids.

and thus, the stars are publicized and reached out to most kids minds through their television shows, their exaggerated and edited voices, these kids look at them as role models and watch their television shows like they had an unlimited supply of candy.

Honestly I don't hate on Miley at all. Ok her music isn't my favourite and I don't adore Hannah Montana but why hate her? There is no explanation. She's not g*y and she doesn't s***w herself. Those are q***r rumours people make up. But the thing is the more you hate someone the more you big em up. Everyone who has made it big has haters. Face it, basic factors. I love this answer, I totally agree. But here's an opinion coming from me:

She is such a good role model and about the pics:

Vanity Fair- was beautiful and artistic, not bad at all. Why did her dad leave her there, and I know she didn't want that shoot.

Cell Phone PIcs: Was just being a teen, didn't send them out, someone hacked her phone (poor girl)

There is no need to swear by the way!

I feel so sorry for that young girl whose parents have used to turn her into a money-making machine for them. She's been forced into things, like the picture in Vanity Fair, and I know she didn't want to. She even said she felt embarrassed. Her father left her there all by herself, while he flew off to somewhere, after having his picture taken with his daughter. What kind of protection and love is that? Where is her mother during all this?

I just hope she doesn't end up being the next Britney Spears. Think about it, they both started out the same. Hugh success at a young age, crazy parents. Idolized by many people. It's no wonder these people go of the deep end there is no one around to keep them grounded. I sort of feel sorry for her. I don't see what's so bad about her. I don't like the Multiple Personalities Disorder thing she has going on with her other half, Hannah Montana, but she's not that bad. I even like some of her songs. She never asked to be a role model either.
