What do you think about Mirena IUD?

i want to place mirena iud but i need to have some feedback, i still hesitate ,is the hormonal effect of mirena that annoying compared to the pills ? or it's the same? .. thanx in advance

I have never used Mirena but have talked to a few women who have used it.  Also, based on what I've heard about it from the commercials that have aired on tv some of the hormonal side effects are similar to the pill.  One of the things that makes the it different from the pill is that Mirena can also sometimes cause cysts on the ovaries to occur.
