By the time it would get started everybody alive now would be dead.

The Nafta Highway would be going through 3 countries about 20 something states combined in the US, Canada and Mexico and plus hundreds of countries. I doubt it would even get started by the year 2100 if you compared how long it takes highway construction in one state let alone like 20 jurisdictions.

This has been in the works for almost twenty years now. It used to be called "Port to Plains".

As for a really good North to South Interstate, I'm all in. Build several!

As for a low security entry into our country - no way!

So parts of this are good for us. Others are very bad. YMMV

No one is totally sure that this is under serious consideration, but if it is I am totally against it. The thing is supposed to be very wide, run from Laredo, Tx. to Texarkana, Tx. and from there on north by some route. With the usual government inefficiency one might expect simi-trailer loads of armed terrorists on about half of the trailers and the others loaded with ammo and explosives if the government is influenced at all by the Bush gang of idiots or other Republithugs.

Supposedly it will cause us to have to remove and rebuild entire towns. And it is for TRUCK TRAFFIC only..THAT sounds very Republithug to me....
