  2. I think the New Yorker pushed the boundaries of good taste with that one. I'm not saying you can't take a humorous look at public figures, but the caricature of the Obamas as violent extremists is more than satire, it's like a visual character assassination. The picture is insulting not only to the Obamas, but to Muslims as well. I also think it's racist. I don't see an equivalent comic drawing lampooning McCain in that way. Anyway, I think this went way too far.
