  1. its cool African lady

  2. were they?

i dont know anything about the olympics. lol

  3. A very good thing :)

If the world wants a two-state solution, then they should act like there are two states. They should let two states instead of one to participate in the Olympics :)

  4. Yes I did.  I hope they do well.

  5. why not, i could go directly there without a visa lol

  6. I was SOOOOOO Happy and Proud! I got emotional and started to cry as well! InshaAllah they do well!

Private P :  Maybe you don't recognize it as a country, but Millions do, and obviously your opinion is not shared by the Olympic Authorities.

Can anyone tell me how to find the schedule for the games they are participating in? I think I will start a new yahoo question to get that info.

  7. I'm surprised there are any Palestinians left after false israel and her lapdog, the US military, got done with them.  The world must stand tall and stay the course and present a united front against false israel's plans to commandeer all the world's oil and annhiliate the muslims.  The same as we stood against the cancer of communism and that other form of nazism 60 years ago.

  8. Personally, i feel that all countries should be permitted to take part in the olympics, regardless of politics, wars... However, in my opinion this does not apply to Palestine, because as of now, Palestine is not a country. THis is not a case of terrorism, anti-semitism or racism, but a mere fact. As of 8-8-08 there is no real country in the world known as Palestine. Therefore Palestine should not be participating in the olympics.

  9. I think it is absolutely normal for Palestinians to be in the Olympics. It's fair. I don't think it would be right if they weren't in the Olympics. Everyone no matter what race, religion, ethnicity, they are all suppose to be able to compete. That's why they made the Olympics to see who the best in the "world" are. What if there was some super speedy man there and one of the chinese men won the 200 dash, but when he thinks about it, he will honestly believe that he was up against the best in the world at his time. I would hate to tell someone that I'm sorry, there's a faster man in the middle east, but we didn't let them run. Or worse not even give him the chance to know about the other man or race against him.

  10. Alhamuallah, this also made me Happy! =)

  11. I was really glad to see Palestine represented.  What is really sad though is the fact that Israel did not allow them to practice like any other olympic.

  12. no real problem. As long as the country doesn't conspire with a terrorist group against Israel. Ever heard about what happened at the Olympic games in Munich?

  13. As Salaam to you all,

Most of you are proud to see the Olympics and Palestine taking part, why?

The Olympics are in a way a part of Muslim culture for men to spend time building up their bodies in strength but what about the women. Sorry to say this but it is forbidden to see the human bodies of both men and women and especially in the clothes that they wear for the Olympics. So we must say that there is no compulsion in our religion and we must allow people to wear what they want, where they what. Are the Muslim women within the Muslim countries taking part wearing hijab's and clothes which do not show off their figures?

Who is a Muslim today during these games, or will we revert back once they finish?

    Wa Salaam.

  14. Well, there is no such country as Palestine.

But Israel has sent teams to the Olympics.

  15. It made me verrrrry happy to see Palestine in the olympics...I hope they do REALLY well and p**s off the israelis even more. LOL ;)

  16. i cant stop laughing at Trooper because he said history. If he really knew his history "israel" was always Palestine. When Troopers "savior" Jesus was born that land was still called Palestine and it was ruled by the Romans. LOL Israel was never Israel until 1947. Before that all through HISTORY it was Palestine! trooper needs to know history before he opened his stupid mouth.

  17. It was Great to see them there, I loved their fashion statement too:-)

    Viva Falasteen!!!
