  1. It should be a good move. He appears to be going into it with the right attitude by starting at the level that's most appropriate for someone w/little experience in ownership. The truck series is great and it allows him to determine whether or not he wants to move up. This is the least expensive way to determine if he would like to be in the business long term. What's the worst that can happen? How would you like to be in his shoes? He has a lot of money and needs to find a career to replace the one that he currently has. He has maybe 3 years left in football. Good move.

  2. i think it sucks

  3. Considering the fact that Randy Moss can't even admit to the fact that he played Football for Marshall University -

I, like many others, could care less what the man does.

  4. its not so much as to who owns it, its how much money they are investing in it and how much pull they have, the more money the better off they are, just look at toyota, just a year ago they were happy to even be in the top 10 in a sprint cup race, now they have gibbs and red bull shows signs on good runs too, so money talks along with sponsorship, but itll be another flop just like troy aikman and so many others

  5. Well since he is a legitimate fan (He grew up in West Virginia all around people that watched races so he started becoming a fan at a young age), I really do wish him success. If he is just the money man and leaves the decision making to the experts, than I think the team will have some success, but not right away. THey will probably get their first win in 09 or 10. But I do not think it will flop like some other famous people that invest in teams.

  6. Won't last very long..He just wants to blow some money

  7. Biggest sports failure since Vince McMahon got into professional football.

  8. it's a major ego move for moss - he even changed the truck number to match his jersey number. have you heard this man interview about it?  he sounds like a nascar fan, but not the world's brightest businessman. of course, that doesn't necessarily mean he can't be successful, but it sure doesn't help. i know he has "dreams" of moving all the way up to cup, but i don't see it happening.

  9. It will be a train wreck....
