wow great trade for both teams in my opinion if it is really donte greene as the player to be named. there is absolutely no point in keeping a pissed off star in artest, only trouble could come out of it. not only did the kings get rid of him, but they also got a 1st round pick, a young player with tons of potential in greene (mabye), and they get an old fan favorite in bjax back. as for the rockets, theyre pushing to be contenders in the west, with artest and battier, they can pretty much lock up any 2 or 3 in the league, maybe even a 4 as well. yao, tmac, artest, battier, landry, alston...thats a pretty good team if healthy.

Scott: I would imagine Battier will come off the bench. Artest is a better scorer than Battier even though his range is less than Shane.

So when McGrady goes to the bench, either Artest can play 2 and Battier can play 3 (or vice versa). Same thing will happen as Artest is subbed by Battier.

In this rate... (if Battier accept the role), then he will be 6th man of the year.
